I like this theory! I just wish idols weren't dead in their MVs so often. It's kind of an old trope by now but it still stabs fans in the heart every time.

👏👏👏👏👏 Very good interpretation. I also think it's a continuation of Back, especially when you read the lyrics of Back. That song was from a perspective of someone who's gone and wants to be remembered. The opening verse says: Remember, inside your wallet The traces that I left behind Engrave them without leaving anything out. Reminisce, inside that photo Inside that space that remains. Cut to this The Eye MV with the wallet and Infinite's picture. 😮

and it makes sense that this video is the continuation of Back. at the end of Back, all the members were about to have a head on fight with the other dudes, while L is behind them. the first line of this song is "everything ended"... so it matches. ahhhh writing this gives me goosebumps.

the theory makes alot of sense especially the seven emotions depicted,which are basically the seven stages of grief one goes through when they loose somebody. Him wanting to join them and them stopping him to convince him to live on, is quite powerful. because many of us have had those experiences in life be through tragedy or another event loosing loved one's devastates the living and scars one's soul finding reasons to live can be hard. me personally ive been there i got to that low point but lol im still here so.

Could the box just be a metaphor for L? He tried to send himself to the afterlife and yet he returned to the world of the living? I figured the wallet is just a shot for anyone who doesn't know that all the members are supposed to be friends. For people who thought L was fighting his enemies, it's a clue to let them know that the members are a team and they weren't assaulting him. It also gives away why he feels incomplete, because he is the only remaining part of that unit.

One more thing that you haven't mentioned in the video is that when Sunggyu and other members were standing as a circle and he hold a lamp in his hand. When he switched the light on, L woke up!
