I like netdecking simply because i like the game but don't want to and don't have a lot of hours to put into the game when i want to try a new archetype. Plus if net decking wasn't a thing, you can still ask your opponent to send you a copy of the deck they destroyed you with

31:50 Netdecking becoming more popular helps competitive play but hurts casual play. At least in MTG you can go down to your LGS and start up a play group while hearthstone is against random people all the time (Unless you do friendly battles) so netdecking becomes more of a problem for casual players who are looking to play silly decks. That being said, netdecking isn't the only culprit to this. Many people just like winning games, and when they see a deck beat them sometimes that player will try to make the same deck to win more games.

You can make friends on HS and play them off ladder with your own shared expectations as well. I don’t think it hurts anything, it just is.

I overall don't think netdecking is a bad thing for any game, but I can see people's frustrations with it when all they see is the same 3 decks and they wish to see more variety. Instead of blaming balance it's easier to blame netdecking as the main culprit.

@Shadowbatbeats Casual mode does not refer to the colloquial “casual play” that players use to describe playing with less serious decks, its just a not-ranked mode. Your irl friends are not always available to play casual pick up games either.

Best reno druid deck of all times until a better one. I feel like net decking is great overall but at the same time everyone comes with the most refined decks they can find and my own brews can't compete. So overall I think it's good but at the same time it keeps me away from deck building because it can take time and for a worst result
