Wavesplitter is cool, but I’ve preferred using Unforgiven with repulsor brace, which grants an over shield when defeating a void debuffed target.

not sure what you mean about gutting it. The rework is what gave us volatile coming out of invis. The thing that made it so meta defining at least in pve was it unintended volatile interaction with rapid fire void lmg like retrofit escapade. Once they fixed that it was ok but hardly the dps moster it was. I have not tried it since LF came out so maybe the new system has improved it.
