I feel great swords are so boring in this game. When i want to find good stuff for Warrior I just change my pawn and myself into that vocation before purification. It works... You can choose what to get from every purification: Step 1: Change both your pawn and you into warrior, ranger or sorcerer, the same for both of you. Step2 : purify everithing you have, write the results down in a list and godsbane. Step3: Repeat for the other two vocations mentioned in step1. Step4: decide what you want to get according to the lists. Step5: Purify items 1 by 1 changing vocations as needed.

I have been trying to get the Cursed Light holy sword for the past 5 days with no luck, my purification luck blows. Never knew about the charity coin trick with living armors, when I fight them as a warrior I usually just "Arc of Whatever" them and for some reason it does gravity damage sometimes though it may take the third variant of the skill for it to knock them high enough to gravity damage them. Glad I am not the only one still playing this game, Fighter is my go to vocation.

First time I fought the Living Armor I thought he was pretty tough, then I broke the the armor and realized, “well... shit, how am I supposed to do damage?” because I had one or two pawns that could buff my weapon, but they were so stupid, just getting wrecked over and over again, and I just had to reload a previous save because it was just taking forever and I ran out of supplies.

Coin purse of charity does both physical and magick damage, so they're really good against living armors and other ghosts
