Sorry the game sucks, and people are going to say it sucks. it's fine if you enjoy it but if other people thinking it is bad makes you feel bad then that is a you problem. Watching your videos is significantly more fun than playing the game itself.

I also think DD2 brings what I was missing in DD1. That's why as I always knew Capcom is amazing game company since I was a child, now they clearly got the status of THE BEST GAME COMPANY due to Dragons Dogma 2. My ideal dlc would at least contain: 1. Stupid long dungeon that eats all my resources and challenges me to my limit. 2. Some more bosses and boss variety 3. Vocation rework. DD1 had a really well put together list of vocations, advanced vocations and special vocations. Like a well rounded wheel. DD2 felt more scrambled. Thief needs an advanced vocation and we need one or two new special vocations to fill the gap. Warfarer is absolute peak tho. 4. A clearer story. I enjoy the more show-dont-tell way how dragons dogma tells its story, but this often comes to a degree where the confusion gets in the way of the engagement. Like what is our relation with pheasus? Is he a foe, a friend? The quest journal hints at the second, but he is also the guy that enslaved us. 5. More juicy lore.

your channel introduced me to dragons dogma around 2 years ago. just the algorithm had decided to bless me, i had never seen or heard anything about either game before you. when the second game dropped i decided it was probably time for me to pick up the first game, so i did. and i loved it, and i still love it. it quickly became my favorite rpg of all time, as i had played every elder scrolls game since morrowind, every witcher since the first game, and a myriad of other fantasy games, but none of them ever gave me the satisfaction, peace, and genuine sense of curiosity that dragons dogma brought me. naturally, i got into a lot of online forums. and while there are genuinely kind and gentle people within the community, there are just as many if not more absolute hateful degenerates. i understand how someone who has been around in this community for as long as you have (seeing as in my opinion you’re really the og dragons dogma channel) you would at the very least need a break, if not a permanent one. i also understand that having people think of you as just a dragons dogma channel is very limiting, i just said you were the og after all. i understand that feeling of being restrained as a creator, im a musician myself and overtime people come to expect a certain form from you and are disappointed when you don’t give it to them, even if what you put out is objectively better than your previous work. i guess what im trying to say is, you’re welcome, and thank you for everything you’ve contributed to your community. maybe one day it won’t be as bad as it is now and we can collectively gather around this video after you’ve uploaded again, and congratulate you for coming back. i wish you well wherever life takes you. ❤️

The truth is Cringe's growth was dependent on DD2 hype but DD2 hype died instantly after launch. You can see the drop off of social blade almost exactly in line with interest in DD2 waining. Money stopped coming in. The comments on the videos were merely a consequence of DD2 being the big nothing that it was.

Fuck what people think, do what makes you happy and do what you want to do. The real ones love you regardless of whatever thing that doesnt matter that really doesnt matter, but you matter and your gifts matter more than whatever people have to think about you and your gifts. I don't know if you'll see this at this point, but I want it said anyway: Dragon's Dogma is one of my favorite games, in no small part due to your passionate advocacy. In fact, that I ended up buying the game at all is due to that. I joined your discord community a little before DD2 was announced and enjoyed my time there a lot. I left your community when DD2 released because of personal reasons, but I left it while the hype and positivity was at an all-time high. It breaks my heart to see this video (and some of the comments on it) now, as I find myself, months later, wondering how you are doing. With all of the memes and knowledge I've gained from watching your videos, I won't forget your channel anytime soon.
