I really love how you explained that you did everything without save states. Most summarized runs won't bother to explain whether or not they are using save states and when, so you don't know how much pain the player is going through.

Reloading from killing Shadow Mario at the wrong time to get the Yoshi Egg on the roof should have been unnecessary. If I remember correctly, if you wait long enough after downing Shadow Mario without talking to him, he'll just get back up and start running again.

I don’t think anyone would judge you for restarting the game and getting to the yoshi part normally… since we all know you were able to do it without jumping. You don’t have to admit you did it the normal way, but no one would judge you if you did!
