17:55 The Plank as an early weapon is not as good as it sounds because if the explosion kills enemies it doesn't count for the +1 engineering for every 6 enemies killed with a direct weapon hit. What is an amazing weapon for the Dwarf though is the Spear as it has massive range and cleave

Never liked torture. Always thought it was a bad item as it gimps healing overall and effectively handicaps a run.

It’s not terrible for r20 wins imo, thought the higher difficulty of the dlc kind of makes it worse. It can solve your healing for a run and gives a lot of extra hp, so if you don’t have healing options online yet, it can be decent. Edit: glad it got upgraded to 5/sec. that was needed

Just an clarification about that affirmation at 29:09: 99.9% damage reduction from armor WILL turn almost every single instance of damage in wave 40/50 into 1. I tested that using Axolotl converting %damage to armor (GMO with bloody hand and a lot of decomposing flesh), so in this run in particular i was with 2600+ armor and 99% reduction. I only finish the run bc i pick torture and the ghost that makes a wave start with 1 hp.

Yea 99.9% for 45 was a big lowshot, I sometimes forget that some numbers I recall are from times where we got to really high waves, like 80+, 500+ etc.

Yea, but 4x15 helps quite a lot to buy them cursed. Before you could take 2 normal ones and let 2 curse, now you have to either take 2 normal ones and let only 1 get cursed, or you take 1 normal one and take way longer to curse it. Before, the 2 normal 2 curse leads to a max of 92% Curse, while now 2 normal and 1 curse is 81%, but 1 normal and 2 curse is over 100%, so everything locked gets cursed. Issue remains though that you are looking at an only 20% chance for it to happen

About the melee weapon range and attack speed... Does the cooldown get calculated from the start of the attack, or does the cooldown start only when the attack ends? I'm asking because that drastically affects how fast you can attack. In the first case, the range start hindering the attackspeed only when the attack speed gets lower than the time the animation takes. Other than that, the range doesn't affect the attack speed. On the other hand, if the latter is true, the range stat will always affect the attack speed.

They need to update Torture to at least 10% HP per second. that is a balanced amount considering all other options. Locking in at 5hp makes literally no sense. If it was 5HP per second and ALSO 5 Material per second that would also be more fair.

I keep coming back because I like to watch, but its still unwatchable for me, Its the ads. Pre-roll Ads, the first ad-group @ 01:00 and another ad group @ 02:00, then yes another ad group @ 03:00. That is as far as I'll go in the video.

I advice reloading the video or using adblocker. Towards the end of the year advertisement budget is pretty big and some people get hit by that hard and constantly see ads

@@DexTag Its not on you mate, thanks for the advice, but that is part of what I have been trying. I make these comments because 'Rarely' if I come back another day to watch, the ads are dramatically lessened. When compared to the crazy amount ads I get. Plus the comment acts as documentation for me, where I am getting the ads. As the number of ads that overrun this device are like none I've seen or experienced before. Seem selective. Not in the ad that is played, but the channels they're played on. For instance gaming & other reviews, which is what I watch most of here. Are the most effected. Yet its also for things like A tabletop role play creator group I follow & know have disabled ads on their channel. I have gotten ads on their content, usually pre & post roll which I stopped counting. But occasionally mid-rolls, where there should be none. But I'll solve it one way or another shortly.

At least on pc, If you go into options>gameplay you can turn on retry last round, bottoms of the right column. Hopefully the same on console! Have fun with the wifey. How is coop on the game? I was excited when i saw it was being added. I love couch coop
