I really liked Aurora. I had a very similar reaction to Aurora as I have recently to Ren. Never heard of them but then after being exposed became an instant superfan. She's different.

Thank you so much! Of course I took the matters on my hands cause this needed to be done! Aurora is divine, there's so much stuff, her songs are so powerful and catchy all of them! I am so happy with your reaction; it is better than I could have imagined it was going to be. I saw you smile, enjoy the beat, the instruments, her voice, and work hard on understanding the message she was portraying. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

She has said this is not a song about a romantic relationship because she wrote it when she was a little girl. It’s about her wanting to be friends with a group of girls who were not so nice to her. She finally realized she didn’t need their friendship.

Nice reaction 🙂 I'm fairly sure you nailed the meaning of the song as well! There are actually quite a lot of Aurora songs that have some POP! in them. Do you know what genre Aurora prefers to listen to on her own time ? Heavy rock! Neat, eh? Love from Norway ♥♥♥

Thank you for this reaction to Aurora. Love your discerning the meaning and feelings behind the lyrics! Subscribed, just now. As others have mentioned this is early in her career - this concert was in the Bowery Ballroom, New York sponsored by Honda Stage on April 19, 2016 when she was still 19 years old. The Honda Stage is a combination of live events and exclusive online content sponsored by the American division of the Honda company. They have a KZbin channel and a physical venue in Los Angels. For a jump ahead to November 2018 and a superb short concert (six songs) sponsored by KEXP radio in Iceland ... Aurora gives an exciting upbeat performance, one of her best at that time - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpC7mKirrbGiZ5I EDIT: I just noticed that you've reacted to 'Churchyard' at the KEXP concert. All of the other songs were excellent!

Yay, back with Aurora 👍😍😍 She wrote this song when she was 9 years old, so it’s nothing she’s experienced. She rarely write songs about herself 😊 She explained to The 405: "It's a reminder of how important it is to not give yourself away for anyone else's love. Way too many people tend to stay in relationships where they go through verbal and physical abuse. It's a huge issue that needs awareness." She has released a lot of great music since your last reaction, and you’ve just scratched the surface👍 If you want something more upbeat you have for example: “Cure For Me” official video “Animal” official video “Apple Tree” official video

Great reaction! Please do more Aurora - for more upbeat songs check any of the songs from the KEXP mini concert. Also some of her newer stuff is really good such as "A Dangerous Thing", "Heathens", "Everything Matters" or "A Temporary High. Also, for something completely different watch her cover of "Rasputin" by Boney M! - definitely not what you would expect!

From an interview she gave, she wrote it very early. It's origins come from her experience at school. Just trying to fit in with the popular kids. Turned out...she had to walk away.
