Maneskin got me out of post-Covid depression, they have unlimited energy, incredible musicians, quintessential voice, lyrical song writing (Italian songs are amazing poetry), and they are young and good looking, very stylish. In short, they have everything we could ever want :-) I cannot wait to see them in concert in the UK. Best English song from their recent album is "For your Love", other Italian song that I love is "Vent' Anni". Italian songs are best played with lyrics video first, and if time allows, the original video afterwards. Otherwise one would miss the excellent song writing.

This band is legit. Måneskin is a rock band but they love to experiment so you can't really classify them as one thing or another, they take influences from 00s brit rock bands like Artic Monkeys and Slaves, 90s grunge, punk, 70s classic rock as well as Influences outside of the rock genre like funk, Reggae. They are very open minded people in every aspect which translates to the way the style themselves. All I can say is, these guys are incredible live performers and musicians. I would definitely recommend some of their italian language songs (make sure to look up the English lyric translations because the songwriting is very strong, and all lyrics are from the vocalist Damiano David.) If you're looking for something a bit heavier from them. Try the Live One versions of Lividi Sui Gomiti and In Nome Del Padre!

Hi, I'm really excited because for the first time from a while a band of my country is having a great success outside Italy...expecially if we consider that mix of rock/pop/funk/rap that in Italy is really poorly represented. If you liked Zitti e Buoni I can recommend you to listen "Coraline" "Lividi sui gomiti" and "in nome del padre" all these tracks are from their last album "Teatro d'ira vol 1" where their sound is more mixed, complex and heavy then their previous works

Excellent job, Lee! Zitti e Buoni is the much stronger song ("Shut Up and Behave", is one of their three best, and is the song that won Eurovision this year, deservedly so.) of the two. Their secret weapon is the bass player, Victoria Di Angelis, who is very creative in her approach and sound. The lead guitar player, Thomas, is heavily inspired by Jimmy Page. (Maneskin is Danish for "Moonlight". Victoria's mother is Danish.) They are very young (only 20 and 21), and mostly met in high school, except for the drummer. The song (Zitti) is about being yourself and not following what other people expect. The chorus is "I'm crazy, but not like they are; you're crazy, but not like they are; we're crazy, but not like they are."

They have definitely listened to Arctic Monkeys and other British bands from that era. Sometimes you shouldn't listen to the lyrics. I wrote a song over six months but wrote the lyrics in five minutes. And in English which is not my native language. I thought at that moment that no one will hear this but god how wrong I was. It turned out, however, that people didn't react negatively to the lyrics, not even English speakers.
