The woman in the video is representation for his Wife. They used to be a couple in and around high school. Later she goes to college and he was still pursuing career in music. Many years later they reconnect, and the rest is history. Why he don't deserve it (to be happy)? In different song he explains how tired he was with the industry world around him. Flashy people(big smiles) , but empty inside. He talks about his actions and choices, that he is really not proud of,and how this is not him - not who he is, and not who he wants to be. Basically soul searching brings him back to the girl that he ones loved. Her insecurity: She is a beautiful woman with career and all. Apparently she was intimidated at first, because of the flashy lifestyle and people around.

The Darkness used to open for Ed Sheeran so it was something he did for fun at their London show.
