Love my vq37 in my q70. Left the resonators on. Deleted the mufflers, put 5inch slash cut 18 inches long tips on. Sounds awesome not raspy. They look cool too.

full straight pipe sounds like a bad trumpet. Should have got rid of the muffler and kept the resonator. I did that on my genesis and im gonna do it on both my G37s. Resonator keeps the deep tone without that trumpet sound but makes it loud without the muffler.

I purchased a 3 inch Upower X-pipe, two 2.5 Dynomax mini race bullets to replace my stock resonator and two magnaflow performance mufflers for rear. Eager to hear what it will sound like.
