Hey guys I got the MBRP exhaust mated to a Megan Lower Downpipe. Running Jb4+ fuel wires on map 2. Have not done a dyno session yet but car is faster went from 8.3 to 8.5 in the 1/8th to 7.98 looking forward to running it on the Dyno.

More like 80 torque and 40 hp with just an exhaust. But with a tune on pump gas .. 150 torque and 65 hp over stock with a full catted downpipe and CBE (Fast Intentions)

pro tip, lower downpipes are literally held on by 4 bolts. Its super easy to change from stock cats to ldp. So if anything happens just switch back on the cats and go to the dealer for the warranty work.

I have a question, My friend works for nissan and I asked if I can just install the new exhaust (mbrp) without tune bc I barely have money to get the new exhaust and he said that I need to tune it right after I install and if i dont tune it , it will harm my engine, is that true? (So the question is : Can i install the exhaust and still drive around without any problems?)

Yes! The exhaust won’t hurt your car because it is not near any sensors like the downpipes, installing it will give you sound, but won’t give you any power until you give it a tune to unleash all of that trapped POWER!

The parts will fit the redsport! You will need a tune to see maximum gains, which will be more than the base Q50. The redsport does limit boost without a tune. So if you just bolt up the parts, you will see similar gains as our Q60 dyno runs. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4vdpIN9rcuCpdk

You should tune after installing all the upgrades, including exhaust. If you install an exhaust, a tune is not required. But getting one done will help to get additional hp.

The numbers don't lie! We had a hard time believing it either. The stock exhaust system is very restrictive on these cars. You are definitely welcome to test the theory out yourself. Let us know if you needed an exhaust system.

@@lukezucco The initial flange on the MBRP exhaust is 2.5in so it can with stock downpipes. If you wanted to do a true 3in in, you would need to weld on a 3in flange on the MBRP exhaust.
