Being a G37 owner and watching a Q50 give it the business so easily makes me think to myself "It's been fun, but it might be time"

Stock for stock a non Red Sport VR30 Q50 and a G37 are about on par with each other. This is especially true for back to back runs because the Q50 heat soaks fairly quickly. The 3.7 Q50s are actually just as quick if not a little faster that stock Luxe/Pure 3.0T Q50s. The 3.7 is a really good NA engine. The VR30 is on a different level as far as modifications though because you can pickup 80-100 HP and 100+ TQ from just a tune on 93, and even more on ethanol. I made 428whp and 491wtq with just DP, a RS secondary intercooler pump, and tuned on 93 but in out of fuel. I just installed a flex fuel kit Weds and I’m doing my high and low pressure fuel pumps this weekend then I’ll be getting retuned on ethanol. Probably E40-50 for now. I have a pair of Pure Stage 2’s on their way to my house as we speak and an appointment to get them installed mid October because I don’t feel like tackling that mess. Shooting for mid 600s at the wheels.

@@BabaYagaRacing I heard that the new z will come with bigger turbos and a stronger built engine to manage the upgraded turbos. Idk if you should expect the same exact setup thrown in the z. Not to mention they know the competition so it would be a major let down to release it slower then it's direct competitor. As stands though I do agree b58 is definitely better as of now.
