Considering that a race car driver was involved in the development of the car, I think a 'Vettel Edition' should've been a coupe or a small sedan. Of course there are some quality high-performance SUVs, but SUVs are cars that are supposed to shine off-road rather than tarmac. So making an SUV that's barely capable of off-roading seems completely pointless. A coupe or a sedan would've attracted more people from my perspective because they're better suited for agility on tarmac.

hyungwoo0312 Range Rovers are the only SUVs that are really good off road. The Wrangler has no space and luxury and is a pure off-roader. That infinity is a typical SUV, has no ground clearance whatsoever, and will be useless on anything more than a bumpy road.

The price increase is because of the Vettel namesake, limited availability, and the carbon fiber parts. The 5.0 v8 is a beast in itself but the 5.6 v8 vd engine in the patrol is faster. Maybe do a future swap. Driving the v6 version of the fx/qx they are really great cars with good balanced power and torque.

No idea how many they eventually sold in the UK but of the 15(ish) UK cars I wonder where they ended up. I moved the same car four times from factory to dealer and back again. It might have had just 10 miles on the clock by the end of it but had travelled several hundred miles on the back of the truck. The first time I clapped eyes on it I wasn't that impressed but it had sat in a compound at the factory for so long it was just green and manky all over.

This car has to be the most amazing, powerful, luxury Infiniti but...until the Q50 RS400 Eau Rouge came over with a 956hp quadturbo inline-6 engine that can do 350mph and 0-60 2.4 secs which was insane for nissan at the time quarter mile 13.2 seconds and half mile 10.5 seconds transmission from a nissan gtr track package nismo tuned...pretty insane power for the time floor it your into space! Of course the 187 mph vettel edition is our main dish for right now...but you've got to say 3.8T 956hp quadturbo Inline-6 to the limits! Vettel edition is based on access evolution Infiniti 2003-2012

It was tuned also but it's disappointing for that price. Infiniti should've at least put the 5.6L Engine. Better yet, they should've put a Supercharger on the 5.0L Engine to generate 500HP. Jaguar added a Supercharger to their 5.0L Engine in the F-Pace SVR.

@@8marky8mark8 Yes it's very fast but I wish it had more torque. 390HP is more than enough but more torque would make it quicker off the line. Was thinking of installing a Pedal Commander to improve the throttle response. I also have a G37Xs, which I installed a Pedal Commander. It made a huge difference in the throttle response.

@@crod6431 Yeah, the throttle response SUCKS on the FX50 even with the shifter in DS mode. I can get the acel pedal all the way to the floor without the car even reacting. The only thing I don’t like about it. I would be happy to have the throttle response of my wife’s G37, or my Titan for that matter.

This is the worse, most inaccurate review I've seen in a long time. First of all it has 420 horsepower not 440. The guy even accurately states that the Vettel has and extra "29" horsepower from the original. Well the original has 390. Do the math sir. Second, the original FX50 will do 0-60 in 5.0-5.1 seconds, so this Vettel with lighter weight and 30 extra horsepower should go ummmm faster. Third, the top speed isn't 187. Yes, this is what they were shooting for but had admitted it will only to 170 miles per hour.
