Hey Tim ! The potato balls you ate is something my mom makes ! Super easy to make ! You basically take potatoes and boil them. You mash them and add butter , salt & pepper ( to your liking ) then you have to make the meat filling which is called Piccadio ! You need ground beef , onions , cumin , cooking wine , salt , a lil bit of tomato sauce. You mix that together in a pan and cook until meat is cooked obvs lol. You have to wait until everything is cool. You put some potato in your hand and then add a lil bit of beef and more potato and roll it in your hand and form into a ball. Now you need some eggs. You need a little bowl and crack 2 eggs and mix them. Basically what you’re doing is the breading ( the crispy part ) , my mom uses cracker meal but you can use flour if you can’t get cracker meal. Then you put them in the fridge for an hour or two and deep fry !

Hehe! If you're in Utah or Idaho, ketchup and mayo are called fry sauce and you'll find it everywhere. We always had it on our table growing up. BBQ sauce and ranch is a great twist on it.

From Utah here! We have a condiment that is called fry sauce, you can get it at local burger joints to eat with your French fries. It is ketchup and mayonnaise mixed together :) it is a Utah staple!

Hi Tim. I’m from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. The band was playing traditional Puerto Rican music. It was very nice to see. The ball of potato you ate (and I’m glad you liked it) is also one of our traditional favorites. I like it very much as well. The potato is actually made as if you were going to make mashed potatoes then we make a sort of doe with it. Think of them as giant beef hush puppies. If I may humbly suggest, you should try more puerto rican food. I think you would like it. My wife and I enjoy your videos. Blessings.
