Today I'm sitting down with friend of the channel and inveterate content goblin Jordan to assess and subsequently roast every single faction in Infinity N4 on the basis of their emotional energy, themes, and vibe. In case it wasn't shockingly, abundantly clear from the title, this video is a bit of comic effort as a send-off to N4 and is not to be taken remotely seriously. Instead, sit down and join two Australians as we give every faction in the game a proper thrashing. Yes, even yours.

I am shocked by the accuracy of all of these, it's uncanny. I never thought it'd be a skill to have a finger on the pulse of Infinty factions and subfactions. But as a PanO enjoyer I'd like to add that by N5 vanilla PanO is going to become a travel booking company professional as the 3 newest sectorials will all be climate based. Varuna is your aquatic adventures, svarheima is for Norwegian or Icelandic expeditions, and whatever the new one is will be your desert vacation to Egypt or something.

Excellent video, no notes. Some notes: I think RTF sits right on that borderline between "very serious professional" and "former varsity athlete" and the distinction comes down to whether or not Tarik Mansuri is in the list. Shasvastii give me "former gifted child" energy, of the "must constantly prove they're the smartest person in the room" type. Most of the other things I have to say relate to sectorials that aren't in the game yet. E.g. Gabqar Khanate's Cheerfully Oblivious Hired Goon energy.

Just a shout out to you and all your incredible hard work (this included) for introducing people to Infinity. My local group found Infinity recently and after a brief tutorial game, I'm really loving it. Picked up Yu Jing, ended up watching your Yu Jing guide from a few months back and learned so much. You're incredible, and I appreciate your work so, so, so much. Keep it up!

I'm so happy and agree 100% with every Haqqislam evaluation. The assessment on the Namurr (my favorite unit in all Infinity) is out of line, but is right. And it wasn't as bad as Corregidor's (that one was brutal.)

The tiers, good god, the tiers, these are beautiful. I almost want to call out from work and watch this at home on the TV with popcorn...unfortunately I already got to work and I don't think I can convince them. Edit: I am literally convincing my local game store to play this on their TV tonight with the explanation "ok, so, Ariadna and Yu Ching are both extremely divorced dads, but in the complete opposite way. That's what I want to put on in your store." And nothing else.

This is a list worked up by the kind of guy who had a rough time of it in High School (and Uni for that matter) but can manage the lasting resentment with the consoling fact that no one in their class made much of themselves. Likes to sprinkle in some American references like the Hamptons or skiing in the Rockies but not TOO many because half of that country is filled with embarrassing people. At the same time has to be careful about coming off as TOO Aussie because half of that country is filled with embarrassing people. Luckily they read about this study in the NYT that said that international travel makes you more broadminded and is super good for your pores. 😉

We're very very close to the new edition, so it's probably worth waiting just a month and seeing what the new releases look like and also what armies are available as Army updates :)
