This game is coming so full circle for me 😅who played Love Nikki for years before switching over to Shininging Nikki only to put that aside when I got pulled into Genshin. While I definitely won't be sidelining Genshin I am eager to add this to my game rotation because it looks so fun and beautiful and everything I could have wanted from the franchise.

infinty nikki definitely re-ignited my interest for the franchise after quitting love nikki due to how poorly the devs treated global players. i've picked shining nikki a few days back. i can't wait for IN! and i hope, they will treat global players in IN better than in LN! i love the franchise despite my issues with the devs treatment

The Nikki series is AMAZING. Even the older games were fabulous. The lore is surprisingly deep and dark and the storyline is ridiculous in a completely charming way (I used to tell people when trying to explain the gameplay as Pokemon w/Fashion) and everything can be so completely over the top in the BEST way possible. Really a quality game franchise for girls (and anyone else who wants to play it of course! But it's clearly designed with girls in mind and I love it for that because of the high quality and high energy it brings to the table.) I cannot WAIT for this game's full release. Hopefully, it will have English VA and Controller support but even if it doesn't I will force myself to use a mouse and keyboard for the sake of Nikki and Momo and their adventures in 3D. Also apparently one of the Developers on this game used to work for Nintendo on various Zelda games so that's why the quality is so top-notch right out of the gate and the way they've combined the 3D aspects of the new game with a lot of the aesthetics from the previous game is just... so *chef's kiss* awesome.

I've been playing Love Nikki ever since it became available on the Google Play Store. I'm so excited that the wider universe of the Love Nikki series is getting more widespread attention. It's been 8 years for me and I'm so excited for Infinity Nikki!

I don’t know if you ever found this out, or if other people explained, but - there was a gacha machine in the town square that used blings to pull and it was just regular clothes, not abilities - the pink diamonds are indeed the premium currency in this series, its the same in Love Nikki & Shining Nikki - my guess is all the fancy premium outfits they gave you in the mail will be the ones for the premium gacha at launch but i don’t know that for sure - this will be on PC, PS5, and mobile and will be a free to play live service title just like its 2 predecesors - they announced that there will be a public test in q3 of this year during the sony state of play trailer - fans of the series are currently guessing that this is a prequel or alternate timeline to love nikki/shining nikki based on the lore. Miraland actually has some pretty dark and deep lore so I’m really curious to know how it pans out in this iteration of the world - there is supposed to be some kind of multiplayer for this game but the devs haven’t confirmed what that will look like that

There is gacha in this game. There is a place in the city where u play a game to win new outfits, and u can win blue, purple or pink rarity. It's already unlocked at the beginning, I saw other strenmers using it

I have been so used to the kingdoms of shining nikki i was literally judging which npc was affiliated with wich djsjjcjsjcns it was mostly dominated by apple federation but some lilith aspects were there as well.

its a series of dress up games!! the series started in 2012 with NikkiUp2U as just a 2d mobile dress up game. the series got a small cult following with the 3rd game Love Nikki where a lot of ppl got introduced to the series. then the 4th game Shining Nikki released where the game switched from 2d to 3d outfits!! and now were here with Infinity Nikki, which is such a huge upgrade for the nikki series the community is so hype lol

The Nikki series has amazing lore, but you don't have to play both games to understand one of them. In both Nikki is a girl that arrives to Miraland with her cat Momo, the story is different in Love and Shining Nikki but are very clothes centered and she usually has to use her outfits to win against other characters/bad guys/progress through the story. Not really good at explaining things without giving spoilers but I recommend you give them a go! Shining Nikki is 3D and Love Nikki is 2D.

​​@@BlakeGrifter neither, you collect clothing (by gacha, crafting or events) and do automatic battles based on certain style tags (sweet, elegant, sexy, etc). There's also the fashion battles that are the same but playing against other players

@@BlakeGrifter They're not open world. They both have chapter based story in which in each episode you get to see the story play out but can't move Nikki around. The gacha system is the clothes and you use them to battle in each episode. I haven't played Love Nikki in years but in Shining Nikki there are also other aspects to the gameplay like guilds, the home system, workshop, nail studio, reflections, etc. Overall it's a game centered in the story, characters and clothes themselves instead of exploration.

Tbh, I would be pleasantly surprised if they added a playable male character, considering all the other Nikki games (iirc) star Nikki and Nikki alone. Though in shining Nikki, there are outfits inspired by other characters, including male ones.
