@@pammy333 that's ultimately why i stopped playing. i never spent any money on it, but even then it was getting too bloodsucking. i was permanently barred from winning anything being free2play which was annoying but i could live with, but then even getting anything free was getting impossible. the prices for items were so high it was just out of the question, and some people dropped SO much money on the game with very little in return and it was really hard to continue playing, seeing how all the users paying and free alike were getting screwed over. It really sucked because the community was amazing, almost everyone you talked with was so enthusiastic and like-minded, it really felt like the devs had a very precious and rare thing with the unity of the community but just didn't care at all.

I think you took it the wrong way. OP probably meant the vibe and asthetic of the game is Elden Ring like not necessarily the combat. Like the starting area of the game in the ruins looks definitely like from Dark souls plus Ena The Goddess with the chains is reminiscence of Marika from Elden Ring. Also don't hold on the cute aesthetics, Nikki games lorewise are very dark and unhinged. The previous games have themes of Wars, Regional Conflicts, Genocide and Slavery. So it wouldn't be a surprise if Infinity Nikki goes the same route as it's predecessor​@@panpan-6944

I like the dialogue, found it easy to understand. It's not the most engaging and I wish the characters were more expressive. Hopefully they can improve on that at some point. Nikki games have always had that very soft and flowery language. I did have prior knowledge with the previous Nikki games so I already was familiar with some of the mechanics in the game. It is a gacha game, most gacha games have some sort of grind but I dont mind it since its very relaxing and I dont feel pressured to get something within a limited time. The games still new and the devs are taking in as much feedback as possible so I'm interested to see how they improve it.

I'm glad you are giving this game a try! I've never played any of the Nikki games, but I like open world, crafting, cozy stuff and this game fits the vibes. I'm pretty impressed this is FTP (with microtransactions). The devs are giving out tons of free stuff atm with codes if you are liking the game.

That's every gacha game, free stuff in the beginning until you get used to getting stuff then they dial it back hard. It's like lovebombing and then getting the silent treatment. It's a tactic to make you want to spend 😅❤

Great video! It's so funny you mentioned her skin being so flat because I literally left the devs feedback on her skin being so flat and smooth (and only 3 tones?) especially compared to the NPCs which have lovely detailed skin. I'm loving this game though. It's absolutely gorgeous and the exploration is really fun in my opinion. The gacha also seems more fair in this than in other games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail.

The thing is, this is a china game. And girls in china, korea, japan, they love the blurr effect in their selfies/photos. Many often edit their own faces to look... well, basically like nikki. Big eyed, clear skin, super pale. That is the beauty standard. I find it okay, quite cute.

If You don't like it is totally valid, I rather play with a character that look like Nikki instead of a character that look out of Baldur Gate 3. The good thing is there is variety to choose, If all games would have the same character style would be tragic.

I'm loving this game! I played 12 hours straight on the first day and was so mad my progress was gated by server reset lol. Im now a pro stylist but it took two days because you can't max out the stylist stuff in one, that's the only part I hate. I hope I come across you in the game one day! I need more friends because the codes are (stupidly) one use only! Also I noticed you had the slight choppiness/jerkiness when you run also and felt better about mine lol it annoys me so much when I am running around because I have a high end computer so hopefully it gets fixed. The Red Shoes is actually a famous fairytale from over 100 years ago by Hans Christian Anderson who wrote The Emperors New Clothes, The Ugly Duckling, The Little Mermaid, etc. Kate Bush didn't invent it, she was inspired by the tale.
