Probably because in the early days of infinity Nikki beta, many users compared it to genshin impact being a copy because of the open world mechanics

Infinity is better because it's made in Unreal Engine 5. The games are so different, I like Infinity Nikki better coz of the outfits. They haven't released different outfits for my favorite characters in Genshin so I got bored. 😅

Ofc Genshin's gonna feel boring in the outfit/customisation department bc its not a dress up game 😭💀I mean Nikki is literally a dress up game so yeah they will have better outfits/more outfits than Genshin. It would be a pretty shit dress up game had it not had good outfits when thats the main focus. Genshin's main focus isn't dress up its a super sidelined feature since combat is the main focus in Genshin (which in Nikki combat would be the super sidelined feature.) The graphics for both games suit their own games. Genshin would look goofy with super realistic graphics/Unreal Engine 5.(Keep in mind Genshin also released 2 yrs before UE5) Nikki suits the graphics. Idk I like both games but I feel like most things aren't even comparable. The main theme they have in common is that it is ofc a open world gacha game. Both games have completely different things going on for them. I'm not trying to be biased or anything I was introduced to the Nikki franchise way before anything hoyo.

@neoe5970 ​so real bc I can't afford a ps5 or PC so I'm stuck playing the game on a mobile which limits the performance significantly... which is something I didn't have to deal with in the previous nikki games.

@koffesiwi Exactly... Hoyo hairs look like plastic compared with Nikki's... When i first played it streaming for my friend, i took some minutes just to be swishing the hairs "look those hairs movig!!"
