I have some of those I bought around 1979. They really need those original back angled pedestals to smooth out the base and properly balance the stereo image and frequency response.

I unfortunately don’t have those. I may search for them online or replicate my own.

These are great, you got a good deal for just $25.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the grills. I've restored a pair unfortunately the grills were missing. Mine are the older pair like the one shown that don't have the mounting pegs

I will have to dig what’s left of mine out of the shed to find that out. The ones I had don’t mount anymore, so I never use them. The grilles themselves are in good condition.

Sounds like someone really cranked up the treble. Too sibilant.

@@socksumi that's just my crappy cable setup. I'm running this setup from my PC, and I'm having to use a 3.5mm to RCA aux cable, which is also connected to an extension cable that's long enough to reach my receiver. And then that receiver is joined to the one powering these speakers through my EQ. Lots of patching going on, and I'm unsure of the quality of my cables. I'm sure the hissing sound would decrease, or maybe even become non existent if I bought a new high quality cable and connected it directly.

I have found the issue. It was the 3.5mm to RCA adapter I had running from my PC to my receiver. I switched it out with a much higher quality cable, and the buzzing has disappeared completely. Thank you for pointing this out.
