Great vid! Some common Holo tactics for people curious about further applications of the tech: - Holomasking as a different profile of the holoecho trooper (Ex: Kanren KHD as a Kanren FO) to bait the wrong ARO - Using the free movement to nudge a trooper that's in Suppressive Fire into Line Of Sight to an enemy - You can deploy UP TO 3 holoechos... but you can also deploy as only 2, which is not immediately mentally associated to holoechoes like 3 is, and might reasonably fool an enemy into thinking you don't have a airborne/hidden deployment trooper waiting to drop on them - Coordinated Orders with HoloEcho troopers for maximum shenanigans

Funny, instructive and with a very nice pacing. It's not easy to make such lovely videos.

I wish you hadn't left out the re-holo-echo to pop around the corner without breaking suppressive fire trick.

thought about it. it's a good trick. just felt like a lot of detail to put into the video.

Wait holy shit, you can't split your burst against a holoecho??? That's actually super huge, I love that.

Thank you for the new video! I came back to playing Infinity after a few years and wanted to refresh some lore. Found your channel and it is a blast! I was worried that you would not post any more content, but here we are

Love how you used Mirage from Apex Legends as reference. It’s what I think how Holo projector technology works in Infinity The Game.

i will never not think of bamboozling when i use holoechoes.

As someone who recently played against a Lù Duān. The fact the holoprojector can reactivate without spending an order is strong. It felt like at the start of all my turns it almost wasn’t worth investing in destroying the real one.

Great video! I remember learning the nuance of this when I closed in on a Rui Shi to get a favourable attack, only for it to reveal itself to be a Lu Duan and hit me with a heavy flame template!

that's kind of brilliant, actually! :D

Deploy Saladin. Deploy a Hafza disguised as Saladin. Deploy an Ayyar or Bashi Holoprojecting as 3 Saladins. Chain these so they're all within 8" of at least 2 other Saladins. You now have 5 Saladins on the field and your opponent has no idea which one their Speculo Killer should prioritise. Bashi Bazouks give you 3 cheap decoys & an irregular order, Ayyar give you 3 expensive decoys but one of them is a 2W specialist HI with Surprise Attack -6. I think the theoretical maximum of Saladins you can get is 12, but that costs 130pts minimum and uses full AVA for your holo units. 5 Saladins should be plenty. Plus: you've still got a Hafza hiding somewhere as a decoy, and you can parachute in a second Bashi later in the game for "regular" holomask shenanigans. Maybe pretend your CC15 Bashi is a CC23 Nahab, or something.

My favorite holomask trick is disguising Cho into a Deva MSV2 /w Spit... Makes Ariadna players and alike very stressed about coming my way! :D

Wait a minute, this channel isn't called WarRules now, is it? Great change of pace though - I'd watch more of your rules videos for sure. Some ideas for more: superjump, ammo types, or hacking in general (though that might get long) Also would love to hear what you really feel about Torchlight Brigade 😂
