I feel kind of slow for realizing this, but that scene in the art museum where Min-G is left behind after Ryan finds the exit is supposed to parallel the event in their lives that tore them apart. Min-Gi left Ryan at their performance and had to watch Ryan leave him behind. While Ryan was given the "option" (which was really just an illusion) to leave Min behind. Both experienced what the other felt in that moment

I genuinely can’t pick a favourite season, they’re all so different and each one had particular strengths I really enjoyed. I love how solid of an introduction book 1 is and how fun and relatable it’s characters are, I love Lake’s journey of identity and how raw and real their rage felt in book 2, I love how incredibly well written the terrible people of book 3 are and the deep emotions it brought out of me, I love how personal and heartfelt book 4 is with its realistic depictions of the compromises and communication required in a relationship. This show is so fantastic, I love its variety.

The reason is due to the fact that the creator of infinity , Owen Dennis, said he was going to show one actually kill a passenger in cold blood and even some Dennisons. So we most likely would have seen book five through the eyes of Amelia. We would see Amelia usurp one and give an extra layer to her character. One would most likely try to kill Amelia and give his scary robot vibes like we saw in book 1.

The resulting trauma slamming her into rage mode and setting her number back to 337. She cracks One in half and chooses to take over now that she believes she'll never get to leave the train.

We see her brief adventures through the cars and makes some friends 3. She’s bettering herself little by little 4. She finds ONE and try’s to learn more about the workings of the train because she’s naturally a scientific person 5. She actually tries to change some aspects of the train for the better, like giving passengers there clothes back and showing ONE passengers are more than just numbers. 6. She is tempted to reconstruct her old life and tries to get close to ONE as much as possible. She wants to persuade him to do it 7. She wittinesses ONE kill a passenger. ONE explains that a passenger who refuses to better them selves, and only gets worse, must be eliminated. It’s only logical in his mindset 8. Amelia is understandably fearful and realizes that her plan to get close to ONE can very easily backfire. There’s a chance that her number could go up and she now knows too much about the train. 9. Although she wants to recreate her past life, She ultimately decides to usurp ONE out of survival. It’s only a matter of time before she’s deemed a threat 10. Struggle for power between Amelia and ONE. She recruits the help of Dennisons and finally stand up to ONE 11. Obviously a robot with a killer suit will have the upper hand. She has to go on the defensive and hides. Her help is getting killed by ONE and his robots. 12. ONE Gives his scary robot speech about how she’s too illogical. He goes on to further emotionaly wound her as he looks for her And would say something along the lines of “I see now that you being reunited with your husband is the only logical conclusion”. 13. Amelia is out of options and makes one final push for her survival. 14. ONE and Amelia are stuck in a standstill. ONE is now going to kill her but she gets the upper hand and breaks one into two. 15. She now controls the train and actually tries to make the train safer but as time goes on she starts focusing all her attention on reconstructing her old life leading her down a dark path. This will eventually lead to the events that take place in book 1 years later.

After Amelia takes over the train, there is no denizens can explain about the purpose of the train which lead to the event of the apex. Because nobody can do the explanation, most car kinda lost the purpose in calculating which car is for which passenger to learn what kind of lessons, which explain why from book 1-3 there are many car that is kinda chill... while book 4 is the one that up the level by making every car to be a threat. Every episode have a sense of danger and the whole book carries the theme of apologies... if you noticed not just kez didn’t apologise, but min and ryan didn’t either... that is why their number always back to 202. For me it’s a great book on it’s own, don’t have to compare

There's something that I noticed that might not mean anything but is a personal theory of mine Episode 7 of Infinity Train has followed a pattern of introducing characters that we would get to know better later in the series (as opposed to being the darkest episode of the season.) Maybe the hand monster is made up of someone we were meant to get to know in the future? As soon as I saw the numbers on the monster, I realized that it was capturing and engulfing passengers. It felt especially foreboding because we never got to see exactly what it was trying to accomplish by manipulating Ryan and Min-Gi. We only got implications of it's true motive. Maybe it would've been the antagonist of another season instead of the Gohm?? Maybe it's what gohms used to be??? I really wish we could've found out, but maybe one day we will :)

One theory I saw online is that perhaps One was keeping the Docent in check, perhaps by keeping it from leaving and resetting the train car every so often to make sure it doesn't kill too many passengers. However, after Amelia's takeover, the Docent escapes its car and starts traveling through the train, killing passengers as it goes. Maybe part of Book 5's journey is dealing Amelia realizing that her actions directly lead to this, and her trying to fix her mistakes.

I just love this show so much. I remember forcing all my friends to watch the KZbin video when the pilot first came out, and seeing it go out saddens me. My favorite was Book 3 probably cause I resonated with the Grace, but every Book has something that can be taken out of it and that's what makes this show so great. It started a conversation, and though it leaned towards "being more mature" anyone can watch it and look back at how great it was. Owen Dennis gave us a gift that we just gotta cherish forever.

And also about the "more creepy than any SCP" bit, I also don't think that's true- You said that SCPs being known or contained make them less scary than the docent, but I don't see why, the docent is also contained (within the Art Gallery Car). The docent is dangerous and terrifying it takes passengers and adds to its collection of arms, but in terms of the concept and what it does to people, there have been way scarier (and confusing-) SCPs. It's been a while since I've looked into anything SCP-related, but off the top of my head, SCP-3999 (I think) would be scarier, being a reality-bending god whose sole goal in life is to torture someone for eternity, only stopping when the person being tortured got *used* to being tortured (which I wouldn't really count as a win-).

I don't think the train is that smart, Kez said that sometimes the number is part of the problem, which means that at some instances, what the train does to try and help others might actually be hurting their chances (e.g. Ryan's first exist, Tulip overthinking her number, or Jessie's exist and return). I think it makes more sense that the train just saw that Ryan's number went to 0 because Ryan *did* technically fix his problem by saying "I won't leave you", and gave him his exist, and when Ryan considered leaving, his problem came back and therefore his number went up, making him lose his exit

I think it's more of an error thing, like what happened at the last episode of book two. It's a paradox, they're supposed to be able to leave because their number dropped to 0 and they figured out their issues but they can't leave because if they separate again they're going against their learned lessons and unlearning their character development, which takes away the door.

As I see it, this season is like the fisrt half of a episode 8 (especifically, The Ball Pit Car), with the main cast being the softplay part and the Amelia and One's cameos being the Steward's limbs trough the episode. A relax episode with some disturbing elements on the background. Then, book 5 would be the other half, with the suffering, probably tears, shi*t tons of revelations and a MURDER.

This season is important because it shows the train working properly with no more chaos from Amelia's reign. The Apex is gone, One One is the conductor and the main characters are human. This is what the train truly is like.

It's funny that you say that this was the lightest in tone. I never thought about it that way because this season is the one that had the hardest grip on my heart. No other season has made me this sad or anxious. I think the theme of book 4 was a really important one that is under discussed. So yeah, this is by far my favourite season.

I find that that CN cancelled the show because it wasn’t going to have a child protagonist very hypocritical and BS, especially when they had shows like Johnny Bravo, Samurai Jack, Mech-XLR, Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, Mighty Magicswords, and Mao Mao that all featured an adult as their main protagonist.

I just wanted to point out that the evil hand monster made them feel that they wanted to be alone after they acted brashly and got all cold. Morgan does the same thing right before they leave the train, and if all of the other denizens from other cars made it to the castle car, who's saying evil hand monster didn't?

Because Kez didn't screw up the Docent at all. After its first attempt on her fails, it doesn't bother again and doesn't even seem to acknowledge her. And when Ryan and Min-Gi escape, it's not like they left the art gallery damaged or broken or anything. So it just went back to waiting for more Passengers to pass by.

Season 3 is my favorite infinity train season, but I love them all. This show is a fascinating combination of super dark while also being wholesome, and its absolutely amazing. Here's hoping the show is renewed eventually. This series is a hidden gem, only reason its not more popular is because its on subscriptions nobody has.

She could have added the negative side so that it would be in conflict and have a harder time returning to the engine and taking control, if you notice in the chrome car mirror one-one acts entirely like the negative side with no positive side, so the negative side probably isn't normal

I love Book 2 the best, but after that, I really don't wanna pit them against each other, because the thought of any of these being "the worst" or even "the least good" feels flat-out wrong. Sure it's still establishing a world, but Book 1's still awesome. Its pacing is a bit wonky, but Book 3 goes hard & deep in impossible-to-forget ways. And I don't want to slight Book 4 just because it's short on lore or bleakness; it was still one of the most emotionally fascinating seasons of this show. Damn it, I want more. None of these are less than stellar. The heck, Cartoon Network?

My favourite season is 3, and I really hope we will get more.
