Thanos Quest, The Death of Captain Marvel, Annihilation and the Infinity are my favourite Thanos comic books. Also because in these stories we got to see a more calm and cool Thanos instead of the very loud, violent, angry and manchild type Thanos we see in almost every other comic book especially the modern ones.

Loved this story more than the actual Infinity War story, Thanos is really cunning and you see that it's not about being a villain it's about love he seeks ultimate power but he does not feel like a ultimate bad guy and every tricks he pulls off seems legit.
@GeorgeOforiAtta2 жыл бұрын
I agree...why did Hollywood recreate Thanos as some type of villain???
@Bubblegob2 жыл бұрын
@@GeorgeOforiAtta to be fair they did channel a lot of this vibe in Infinity War I think this comic was their inspiration to make a Thanos centered movie and they did convey some of his charisma with him seeming quite sad that it has come to this. It's still the same kind of gravitas. I misspelled I was saying I love Thanos Quest better than Infinity Gauntlet (but you're right Thanos Quest is also better than the movie)
@GeorgeOforiAtta2 жыл бұрын
@@Bubblegob , I must be of the few that feel the way I do about Thanos in general.
@dylanmagararu38922 жыл бұрын
@@GeorgeOforiAtta I personally think Thanos in the MCU was done better than in Thano’s quest and the original Infinity Gauntlet story. I’m my mind the mcu version was ‘humanized’ in a more complex way. I think making his goal to eliminate half the life in the universe in order to prevent overpopulation (as his world was destroyed from) is a much more realistic and thought provoking motive than trying to impress his girlfriend. Sometimes a straight bad guy is what you need but in my opinion I think villains are more interesting when you can somewhat understand their motives from the right perspective

projectOMA Maybe there is a detail in there that he picked up on in the newspaper sections *Spoilers to anyone who sees this don't look below* Didn't Rob guess that it was in fact the Psychiatrist who treated rorschach's son that was the new Rorschach? That was a convoluted mouthful haha
@projectOMA6 жыл бұрын
Adrian Deviluke - well that's a given. Rob makes even the worst comics sound like the "best thing coming outta DC Rebirth right now (my phone now autofills that phrase. Lol) " he will probably do a video once 5 and 6 come out, or 5 at least. 4 alone is alright, but def a fillerr issue to where even Rob would fight to fill more than 5 mins on it. Im sure part 4 is important in the story, but alone it's pretty empty. Was hoping to see them find joker this issue, but nope.

I was your 95th subscriber. Youve been involved in my life for a long time now. SAVED my life. And my dog's. And you never even knew it. We would be dead now if not for you. Maybe I'll post a video and tell that story one of these days. God knows, I owe you at least one story after all those you've told me. But, while it did end happily enough...my darkest days of homelessness, drug addiction and hopelessness...they're still hard to talk about. Suffice it to say for now...when nobody gave a damn whether I was alive or dead, you were there. when there wasn't a single other human voice in my world, I could put on Infinity Gauntlet or Original Sin and, for a little while, think about something other than giving up. Just...thanks, man. Maybe eventually I'll be able to tell you that story. But, assuming you see this amid the million others here now...this will have to do: Thanks for never giving up. Rob Corps!

True indeed. Thanos Quest along with Infinity Gauntlet and Warlock and Infinity Watch are good examples of why only Jim Starlin should be allowed to write Thanos. Everybody else either doesn't know the more compelling facets of the character and his arc or they just turn him into a edgy Darkseid wannabe, something he obviously isn't, especially because Darkseid wasn't the main inspiration for creating Thanos' character in the first place.
