These are a few Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board Basics featuring the This Body Glove Performer 11' inflatable stand up paddleboard. We've been carrying Stand up paddle boards in our Camper Van since the start. Your pump link on Amazon is dead. Wondering if you’ve run across a similar pump. What I’ve heard in my one day of researching is that many of the pumps, even if they’re $150 or $200 die pretty quick - have you heard of any bombproof electric pump in your travels?

Anything in, on, around, or under water is my happy place! I've had kayaks and paddle boards for years. Since right-sizing into van life, I have only my stand-up paddle board from Xterra. Items that I consider key to enjoyable and safe paddle boarding include: 1) Leash - Preferably coiled and relatively short so it stays out of the way. An emergency release feature is also a good option. Mine is the 8' model from XM | Surf More. 2) PFD - To save space and maximize mobility, I prefer inflatable PFD's. They're available as life vests that are always ready around the neck, or stored in a belt with around the waist. Manual and automatic inflation models are available, and many automatic models are switchable. I have both the Onyx 24M (vest) and 16M (fanny pack). Be aware that CO² cartridges are banned from carry-on baggage. So, if you travel with your SUP, transport any cartridges in your checked baggage. 3) Throw bag - Great item to get you or someone else to safety. We're all in it together on the water. Beyond these items, I bring a dry bag packed with a water-proof first aid kit, an extra water bottle with filtration, and sunscreen on every paddle. Happy paddling y'all!

Fantastic advice as always! That's a really good idea on the throw bag. Something about the leash regarding keeping it out of the way (and maybe you already do this)... I was shown to put it up above your calf right below your knee rather than down on your ankle. That little tip helped GREATLY from keeping me from stepping on the leash all the time.

Starting my van build and was wondering if there is any major difference between the 2500 & 3500 sprinter. I know the back wheel difference and weight. I’m leaning for the 2500 4x4 sprinter and would love to here your thoughts. Thanks Dave

controller2152 different gear ratio, 2500 will get better mpg, unless you need the weight capacity I'd stick with the 2500, as I have.
