As someone who runs a Brisco saw I cannot help but laugh at the doubters. It brings joy to me every time I use it. You are truly gifted builder and an awesome human being. I cannot believe how much power you got out of my 501. To the doubters; Try one and you will be a believer. I cannot stand to run a stock 501 now!! Thank you!!!! I like the new format!!!!!!

Mark has a fantastic channel and great content. Obviously both you and Dyno Joe are great trustworthy builders. Joes Dyno service is excellent. I’ve had a few saws across his Dyno just to have the paper with the build. It’s just another tool used in building saws when you truly care about results. Good work everyone and this is great content.

Charles you don’t have to explain yourself to anyone period well maybe except your wife! There will and always are haters out in the world! Your work speaks volumes for itself! I’m grateful and lucky to actually own a saw you have done your magic too! The saw is amazing and it makes me not want to run a larger saw when I can run a lightweight powerhouse and I’m referring to the 353 I bought from you. Now on your possible giveaway on your 10th anniversary I’d like to have a chance to get one of those 4310 Echo saws you have ported and if I was lathe lucky winner that would round out my collection! So just do what you do and forget about the haters in our world!

I like this format Charles. Some folks feel more comfortable not showing their face and some folks do, both are humans still. If the content is interesting both succeed. I have enjoyed Joe's channel for a long time and appreciate the work he does. Mark @ HayChaffandSawdust has been entertaining to watch and get to know through his videos. I look forward to meeting them both in person one day. Keep building saws and having fun. Take care.

Love this style video, don’t let the haters get you down anybody who knows anything about porting chainsaws knows that you’re one of the best and your results prove that. Couple more things I want to say to you Charles. Thank you for not swearing, I watch your videos with my kids and I appreciate the clean talk so much. Thank you for your kindness as a person, it ain’t easy to be vulnerable but if we are going to be strong, it’s the strongest thing we can do. The guys that want to negative talk or push someone down are coping or dealing with some sort of internal negative self belief and since that’s too painful to bear, it must be someone else’s problem so let’s smear it all around. Who knows. Please do keep deleting or hiding those comments there’s no point in letting that crap grow. People can be adults and ask questions if they don’t understand, like you said at the end of the day these are fun chainsaws and me, like you, and others do it for therapy and fun, no other reason. It’s a quest to improve, learn, experiment, tinker, tweak and build. It’s what men need to do to express ourselves and have an outlet. Thanks for sharing your hobby with us and for your positivity.

Reminds me of someone bashing Gary for one of his I think was a honda gx390 block don't remember the exact build he did. I do remember him pulling the rockers and bashing him for different ratio rockers from the exhaust and intake and different lenght push rods. Little did this D.A. new the cam wasn't ground for the same ratio rockers. I find that video of that dude bashing his engine build very funny not having a single clue how much power it made and exactly why he built it the way he did. Some people have shit for brains then there's the ones who doesn't even have shit for a brain... Anyways I hope you still keep building badass saws along with giving us who knows and enjoys your content good videos.

hey charlie i watch you and dyno joe the most i use to watch johns saws but i guess he is MIA?? i have more pro saws than a sane home owner should have. I'm thinking of sending one of the new ones out for work saw port job. I have 3 026 I am playing/learning on and my ruby is an 044 I bought new 1990-1991 very low hours kept in year round heated shop. I did get a few new saws the 67cc Stihl 400 and husky xp-g mk2 these are the two I'm thinking of work saw porting. my question is are there models you do more with and Joe does more with the husky 550 mk2 and the 67cc Stihl 400 who does more of these two? or who prefers each model? I am going to get a 261 with old school carb. out of these 3 new saws what and who is the man for the job? nothing crazy just a dependable work saw with a bit more nuts let me know. I'm never in a rush. I'm your age.i rode/raced dirtbikes from early 70s -2018 so when I have a dialed in saw and I smell that premix I can close my eyes and I'm back on the gate waiting for it to drop. let me know if 261 has old school carb that you are selling. thanks for all the great vidjas from you and dyno Joe.
