I think the Japanese manga and animated film “Akira” is basically a metaphor for archetypal inflation as well…. The main character comes into “contact” with a secret “something” known as “Akira” and develops super powers, growing uncontrollably in physical size and telekinetic ability as a government agency tries to track him down and get “Akira” back under control.

Profound. Thank you. I am so enjoying listening to your wisdom. When you mentioned using the canvas to 'make it up' the mountain - and described its colours - I thought of the artwork of Christo covering landscapes with canvas - (talk about inflation!) - fore instance the bright orange "valley curtain" - and how this may be a way that consciousness is encouraging this young man to use art to make it up the mountain - and even more art to come back down (as the canvas is torn already)...and navigate being back do in the world. Kind regards, Joti

In this podcast you use the word "inflation" to mean hubris, confidence, lack of confidence, compensation for feeling inferior, and other shades in between. It feels like far too broad a swath to get at the meaning of any of these. But the last remarks about Yo-Yo Ma do somehow bring the conversation full circle to get at what it means to have confidence and achievement without inflation.

New subscriber here. I enjoyed this. Could you explain what you mean by, 'the blurring of levels' ,please? Also, what is a good introductory source for learning more about inflation, please?

The Canvas has the Colours of the German or Belgian flag,(and also the 3 phases of the moon, and therefore indicative of the triple Mother Goddess if Robert Graves were to be followed for the symbolic significance.Covering a mountain is like saying covering the Berg =Tip of the(Ice)Berg.?

I have enjoyed many episodes on this channel, but I agree other commentors that a political bias is clear, not onlhy in this episode, but in at least one other that I listened to. This is unfortunate for a discussion of this nature, the nature of the human psyche. The last president certainly demonstrated inflation characteristics and obvious shadows which these analysts have spoken about. However, it's discussed as if no other politicians exhibit the same shadows and inflation, and even graver characteristics of evil. I respect these analysts's usual incisive, insightful and inspiring exploration into the psyche, however, it seems to me that their bias belies their own shadow, or perhaps more likely, their lack of watching some other news outlets than the usual CNN and the like. I would hope that if they want to talk about pysche of politicians, that they use politicians generically, rather than their personal judgement, perceptions and conclusion of recent events and people. The world you three analysts perceive, is just that, your personal perceptions.

This particular episode spoke of bias to me. I’ve listened to countless hours of each of you and always commended your ability to analyze with an outside perspective that maintained equality. You speak on collective inflation and use the insurrection at the capital for example, but leave out the collective inflation created by the media to sway the population to destroy cities throughout the year. While I do not condone any of the behavior that was portrayed by ALL parties, the censorship placed on President Trump while he asked for a peaceful gathering was far from helpful. In fact, I am surprised that your take on this example seems parroted to what the media has portrayed to the public when I expect a greater sense of discernment from this podcast. Perhaps more research is needed for a more fair and truly collective understanding of what was going on and how this episode should be addressed. This is just my personal opinion on the matter.

Totally agree, no one is free form bias, even them. Left and right has different facts about reality. I'm afraid there is no room for dialog and wider understanding, only cultural war that conservative side will lose spectaculary. If someone thinks that Trump is any way, shape or form some kind similar to Hitler, them there is no hope for any constructive thinking. I'm form Poland and I know in detail how atrocius things was done to my family and people that I know and their families. I could say that this comparison deeply offends me, my family and my nation, but I ain't gonna bitchin. This is just to bizzare and stupid for me to be offended. I also understand that even most briliant of people can go NPC full-mode and repeat after CNN oragne man bad.

I feel that Trump is a symptom of the lies of the left. The complete, almost taunting process of relativizing truth by democrats has created a climate where they have set themselves up as enemies of truth and therefore enemies of God himself.

@@jakubwydraa I get that. I have been listening to countless of episodes and from time to time I hear concerning biases that show certain political leaning. And I am totally okay with that if they were consciously aware of their affinity and splitting. But they seem like they are not. It is disappointing yet humanises them in a way. They are just humans and splitting occurs all the time in everyone. We tend to idealise people like them and take them as some thought leaders. But yeah, it is a bit silly - so much splitting chatter and hey, here we go. PS: I am not American and I do not say Trump is amazing nor can I say the same about Bide. I am appalled by the state of politics in the USA and in the world. It sucks.

I was going to address this, but you covered it pretty well. Our media is terrible and it's all being done intentionally, from both sides. There is an concerted effort to polarize the people while "they" benefit in various ways. I wish more people could see that.
