Probably. I never go anywhere with out personally dipping my tanks and knowing what’s where. 👍🏼

I never trust my fuel gauge either. I do always dip the tanks before each flight and record the fuel quantity before each flight in the aircraft journey logbook. (Canadian Reg). Fuel consumption planning at 10 gph is a very conservative fuel flow... 60 lbs an hour consumption. This makes for easy math for flight planning : 1 lb a minute. 90 minute flight, plan 90 lbs fuel burn. This is a safer way to manage fuel without placing too much trust in the fuel gauge.
