I used Ample Sound's Ample Guitar Vintage Cherry, AKA AGVC, for Post Malone electric guitar sound selection. I used the strummer to create the chord progression and for more realistic guitar strumming inside of FL Studio 20. This tutorial also covers music production tips and tricks for using Ample Guitar inside of FL Studio. This electric guitar can also work for Roddy Ricch, Rod Wave and trap in general with the right guitar amp and cabinet settings.

Ample took my production to the next level. Best thing is it’s light on processing power, however creates a realistic sound along with the nuances of guitar playing. Loving this vst, and great job on the video.

Thanks for your explanation, it's really helpful. I play guitar and understand about chord progressions, so it is frustrating to can't express myself on the plugin cause i don't have midi player. Your tips & trick really helpful to write ample with strumming modes on fl piano roll. Really, thank you. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for this. I downloaded the free M2 lite version and the strumming function is very limited. I made myself nuts trying to figure out what I was doing wrong until I started seeing comments from people having the same issues. Would have been nice of Ample to have listed the functions omitted in the free version. I think I'm going to buy the Martin acoustic guitar. As a keyboard player, it's been so hard finding a guitar plugin that actually sounds like a real guitar. These Ample guitars sound very realistic. I'll probably buy one of the electric versions once I'm comfortable using the Martin acoustic.

try to demo the telecaster some day, I feel its great for hip hop aswell, telecasters are known for being extremely versatile, also I think its better to also put the name of the product in the title
@Inflightmuzik
@Inflightmuzik Жыл бұрын
I think I did a video on the telecaster as well. I have it. The name of the product wasn't as strong of a keyword as the title I went with (at the time). Still, in the future I don't plan on using keywords at all in my titles. These restrict your videos to those exact searches. Going to be testing out titles that simply make sense and stand out and use the thumbnail to highlight exactly what the video is about. Seems to be the working strategy on youtube.

The chord did not change on the first note because of the chord keyswiches are lower than strummed notes. if you have 2 notes at the same time, in the most of DAWs, it is lower note first. but in FL, it is higher note first, so it did not work in FL.
@Inflightmuzik
@Inflightmuzik 4 жыл бұрын
lol goes back t what I said about FL not being a traditional DAW. I definitely did not know this! I get it now. Thank for the info. I have a feeling this isn't something they will change, but hopefully I'm wrong haha.

@@Inflightmuzik Another thing is that the velocity of vst2 plugin are 0 - 127 in FL, but vst3 plugin are 0 - 126 in FL, it causes some articulations don't work in FL VST3 plugin format.

Kang Kane I’ve always stayed away from vst3 especially in fl studio. They are often buggy or missing features that are supposed to be there, so I don’t even install them if I have the choice not to. I definitely did notice the harmonic and pinch options only trigger at full velocity in FL’s piano roll, but didn’t know vst3 doesn’t hit 127. Great info. I’ll mention this in the Hellrazer video.

Kang Kane I didn’t mention to either you or Jason that I recently picked up ableton live. I’ll be sure to show off your guitars in there as well once I get into my ableton series. The workflow in ableton (or any other daw lol) works much better than using patterns in FL Studio. Thanks again for pointing these things out for me! Much appreciated.

@@Inflightmuzik Thanks, as we know there is an issue of Live 10 VST2 support, it causes that Live can not find some VST2 plugins sometime. Live also doesn't support multi MIDI channels within one MIDI track. in current version each Ample Guitar preset features a riff, you can load a preset then switch to Riffer, it is a fast way to know the purpose of the preset :)

Something I can't figure out. If I play a chord, downstroke then upstroke, the dots on the fretboard change from downstroke to upstroke. Shouldn't they stay the same if I'm playing the same chord? I see when you're playing your C chords down and up, the dots on the fretboard aren't changing. Am I doing something wrong? Please help! Thank you.

InflightMuzik oh right, I forgot I watched that video. I’m really asking because I wanted to know if you were hearing a clicking noise at the start of your samples when you drag them into sublab. I don’t know if it’s just me or what the problem is.

@@xDomino3x I've always used the samples that sublab came with. Try adjusting the attack with the volume envelope for the sample.

@xDomino3x 4 жыл бұрын
InflightMuzik you mean before dragging into sublab or inside sublab? I think I tried both but it still had the click even after reducing the attack by a lot.
@Inflightmuzik
@Inflightmuzik 4 жыл бұрын
@@xDomino3x Inside of sublab. Could be a bug with the plugin if it's still doing it. Sounds like a bug either way because it should be perfect just like it was before you dragged it in. Then again, it might have to do with how you layer it with the other features, but honestly sounds more like a bug. Maybe just stick with using the samples in sublab until they resolve that and contact them so they know it's something you need fixed so they start working on it/or in case they already have the solution for you.

I wish someone could sit down and talk me through this because I'm having a devil of a time figuring this out on my own. I am only able to get the first 4 chords to work and that's only if I put them into the piano roll manually after dragging from Ample Guitar. I can't get the piano roll to trigger changes between strumming patterns at all, either. I'm clearly doing something wrong as I'm using FL Studio, too, but I cannot seem to replicate what you're able to accomplish. :/
