Technically, the visa is only needed if you're going to be staying in Turkey. So as long as your next flight is taking you back out of Turkey and you don't intend on leaving the International Departures area of the airport, the visa isn't required.

I had my first Ryanair experience fairly recently, and despite being a self proclaimed judgemental prick, it actually exceeded expectations beyond belief. They definitely get a lot more grief than they deserve.
@JasperJanssen5 жыл бұрын
Ryanair’s thing is upcharging you for everything and being super deceptive in pricing and operating from really shitty, far away airports. But it’s *not* flying badly or with bad planes.

Could you do a similar video in the USA? About Ryanair, they have improved considerably over the past several years. Before 2015 or so they were absolute feces - rude FAs, cramped seating, aggressive inflight sales pitches, frequent delays, etc. - but they have improved quite a bit. I think they're loads better than Easyjet or Vueling and almost as good as Norwegian.

You are so right, Noel. Ryanair must be considered the 'best' on account of its pricing, safety and punctuality. Look at its route network, look at the number of pax it carries.

I once flew from Cordoba, Argentina to Santiago Chile to Punta Cana, Dominican Rep. to Miami to New York, JFK. It took me a day and a half to do all this... Will never try that little adventure again. I've gone to Europe for a weekend.

I’ve flew with Ryanair quite a lot on business trips. And I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad flight with them. I can’t understand why they get so much bad press. They get you there on time and their cheap as chips ,what more could you ask for.
@typhoontim1253 жыл бұрын
Exactly...there's a lot of snobbery when it comes to Ryanair...The same people who complain are the very ones who are secretly delighted to save a few quid to fly them. Ryanair provide an excellent service at amazing prices.
@Zhinix042 жыл бұрын
@@typhoontim125 the surprise extra charges is the annoying bit with them. if you got check-in, you first pay quite a bit for that, and if it weighs a few grams over, they want to charge you 60-80 euro for overweight.. (once had 100 gram according to the airport scale, and they wanted to get 80 euro out of me for overweight... I took off a luggage tag and suddenly the weight was below 100 gram (minimum scale registration), and she was happy and checked in my bag :P (she was very nice and even put my tag back on after attaching the barcode strip)

Noel, it looked like you boarded early for most of your flights. Ryanair looked empty when you got on and the overhead bins had lots of empty space available on each flight. How much did that add to the ticket? Also wasnt the cost of a window seat assignment additional?

Second challenge video of the year and it only January! You spoil us Noel 😊 . Genuinely gobsmacked that you could get to Nepal for £140 quid. Those FlyDubai seats looked too cramped for me but the prices of some of those flights was astonishing. Actually tempted to do a mini version of this myself on a week off. Those sleep pods were a superb idea, well worth it for a bit of an escape from the terminal and a bit of shut eye. Really looking forward to seeing Nepal in the next video and curious to know if you could do a lowest faire around the world challenge? If you can get to Nepal for £140... what can you do the world for? Great work

Rach is such a caring wife booking you these lovely flights, she got you to Everest Base Camp for less than 122 quid .... what a girl! Only one slight issue, no "Knee`s Up Mother Brown" when you fly - flydubai - .. Love your passion for flying, you Plane Crazy mate. Agree about Ryanair, did 19 flights in the last 11 months, 7 with Ryanair and all were great, more legroom then British Airways :))
@paulsengupta9715 жыл бұрын
Actually about the same legroom as British Airways as BA have recently reduced theirs to try and compete with the low costs. Ryanair don't have a seat back pocket though, so it may seem better. 737 aisle seats are better than window seats.
