Lex Delarosa (the "trad wife" that made paper) is actually a trad wife parody account. Some people don't understand that it's parody to the point that she started talking about milking her chickens to make it even more obvious. She comments on her own videos all of the time criticizing herself, saying things people that would get rage-baited would say. It goes over people's heads so much that it's parody, to the point where she was actually invited to talk on a morning show about trad wives because they took her account literally. I was rolling 😂

We scoff at how older people can't tell they are being scammed by emails and callers. But younger people are definitely unable to tell which content is real and which is fake. When healthy parents bring home a baby every wine fuss cry and coo gets a “yes” from the healthy parents. But children adopted from foster care were usually neglected and so they need s as many yeses as possible. Many of the adopted kiddos I know have issues around food because they didn’t ever have enough food. Maybe this mom has taken it a little on the crazy side but the idea of a “yes” drawer literally changed our life for the better with our adopted kiddos… (and let’s face it most individually packed shelf stable food is not healthy…)

side note on the food "rage bait" videos. A friend of mine told me that most of those are actually kink content. Anytime someone is rubbing stuff on the counter, playing with the food in their hands, or multiple shots of inserting one food into another. Like the people being mad is another side effect of what is definitely strange to watch but they aren't making it with those people in mind...

Yes some of it is definitely kink content! Especially ones that are like... Edging the viewer. Like on lives "ohh I'll show you what it looks like when we get more likes and views!" Yes exactly why I left so many apps and sites. The Internet is just a wasteland of algorithms and AI bots. It's dead.
@Solonneysa
@Solonneysa 2 ай бұрын
I think the problem is that there are still children, and individuals, who aren't able to distinguish rage-bait, and the algorithm feeds off of their ignorance. A massive hoard of 5-18 year old might not understand the consequences of interacting with a rage-bait video. It gets passed around and the video shoots up. Unless there's some way to filter the videos from ignorant viewers there's no way to stop it from being profitable. Heck, half the time the video isn't obviously rage bait until partway through and a person might watch it and think "What did I just watch?" too late. So, basically, it's awesome that you found a way to protect yourself, but it's not really an effective strategy for combating the rage-farmers. :(

It's the same with restaurants. People don't feel inclined to leave a review if they have a positive experience since that is what they expected/they don't have the time to be bothered. But the people who is fallowing them which is us 😂 we making this world crazy absolute shambles. We are paying for idiots jumping in and out of dresses watching how they are eating and so on instead of trying to finish this nonsense and going back to normal jobs and have some morals for god sake.

But how long can they continue? I've only really watched original content videos since 2020 and have become bored with most of them. How many times can you watch someone declutter their closet or clean my kitchen with me? I mean if you are having to pop out a baby or buy a new house every other year to have relevant content, you might not be in the best career.

Dear Hannah, I am an English teacher (a non- native speaker) who has stopped "enjoying language" over time. I even got depressed thinking about the amount of words I've forgotten in both my mother tongue and English after being the best student in my class and pursuing knowledge in any way I could, that I stopped paying attention to how I expressed myself and it's been going on for a long time now. Your eloquence and the way you are able to articulate your thoughts with ease have inspired me and rekindled that old spark in me, so here I am, doing some vocabulary exercises while listening to you talk. This is a beautiful gift you have, to inspire, inform and motivate people to be better, do better and make better choices, perhaps in ways you might not expect. Thank you ❤

The nice thing is that you can cultivate your content. When you see ragebait, or even non-ragebait that just makes you angry, just scroll on. Don't engage in any way. It won't take long before the algorithm goes 'Oh, they don't like this' and stops showing it to you. Make the algorithm work for you by fully watching, liking, and commenting on things you want to see more of. For example, this comment will help me see more of Hannah's videos and videos of this type.
