I'll have to say that this is an innovative way to sell. We might not agree with their methods, but it's really unique.

What is it with MLM women repeating the same thing in different quotes all in the same video. Like they googled "boss babe quotes" and they just read them all off because they can't pick which one they like more 😅🤣

Where is all the money coming from ("six figures") and where is it going to? Who is paying this surgically altered and filtered woman to prance around in an evening gown pretending to make cough drops?? This and that ridiculous nonsense of sending content creators and Tiktok stars "gifts" or "points" has to be the biggest money laundering scheme ever cooked up.

I always wondered what happens to the downline when someone of rank leaves an MLM. The fact that all those people (and profit) just rolled right up to the founders of Monat sure doesn't instill a sense of job security in someone who's one termination away from a few million extra dollars.

When you started talking about rage baiting and showed that first clip, I thought I knew where you were going, some of these creators are much less rage inducing then they are ridiculous and unrealistic. I immediately thought of the ones where I saw people cooking banana peels in a waffle iron or melting and pouring on massive amounts of store bought icing to a cake, or that hideous spaghettio pie thing that everyone was mocking a few years ago.

A stay at home wife/mother doesn't work or generate any income. Her job is the unpaid labor of raising kids and tending to the husband who works full time and she receives free room and board and any other allowances he gives her for grooming or whatever to look "presentable" or grocery money so she can go shopping. It's kind of like modern day slavery but the family Christmas cards are cute I guess. A work from home wife/mother who has a remote job brings in an income while spending time with her kids while the dad has a traditional job that requires him to leave the residence to obtain income. A social media influencer who comes from money can cosplay as a stay at home wife/mother from humble beginners, a work from home wife/mom, or a soft core p*rn onlyf@ns model, or all 3.

What sucks the most I think, is that I think these people feel like they're being genuine. Like they don't see how manipulative they're being. They wouldn't be making friends like this over social media if they weren't desperate to rank up, but they can't see that for themselves

What I love about your videos is that you’re shedding light on the backstage stuff, the inner workings of making money doing content, that non content creators don’t know a thing about. Just remembering they get a cut off that does make me feel better about what I have and not feel bad about my life not looking like this. Thank you!

Watching back since I’m a new subscriber. Interesting that they say, “We aren’t talking down to other careers” while they cackle at nurses and content creators. Also, I pay $230 a year to keep my interpreter certification, but a 3-hour job covers that YEARLY fee. I am guaranteed to have plenty of work. Interesting that they don’t see the difference between MLM and profession.

Their products aren’t very ‘clean’ either. 7 of their major cleaning products do not even get a good rating on the EWG(Environmental Working Group). Such a scam. I know someone personally who has been in Melaluca for years and told me that they are a buyer’s club, not an mlm. Love your video!! Thank you so much for this!!

Okay, so we covered why the Body "coach" shouldn't be giving health and fitness advice, but we're not going to mention the mom shaming she engaged in? "Give your kids the mom they deserve""? So if I don't work out all the time I am an unworthy mother, I am failing my children. The Mom Guilt is bad enough already, we don't need this.

It’s hard to feel bad for these people being terminated when they’re complaints literally point to cross recruiting and not adhering to the policies and procedures, not to mention complaints about compensation- they apparently are equating the compensation plan to the income disclosure statement. Very different things. The same things happening in doTERRA right now with leaders being terminated for cross recruiting to Livegood. And while I am grateful they are exposing the darker side of how that company operates, they are operating under the assumption that their new company is doing multilevel marketing in a “good” way. No such thing.

I knew a few people that had involvement with Melaleuca. 1) A guy I knew got super involved and excited. He got a sticker put on the back of his SUV that said "WANT TO MAKE / $5,000 / A MONTH? CALL <phone>". And then he and some other guys in Melaleuca, got together and RENTED A STOREFRONT in a mall (I think this is like the two women you had on the phone-- independent, and making their "own" "independent" "business" of it). 2) A guy I lived with moved out and continued to receive these boxes from something called "Melaleuca" that I'd never heard of before. And they piled up every month until we had at least six of them, and contacted him and asked what he wanted me to do with them. I figured given the size and weight, they must be valuable, but he just said to throw them out. We didn't, though; we opened all the boxes and it was an assortment of bathroom stuff (moisturizers, cleansers) and I think some laundry things. Anyway-- we just shelved all the stuff and used it. "SHOCKINGLY MEDIOCRE" is how I would describe the products. Cheap packaging, and nothing special functionally. Punchline to #1) One day, the $5,000 disappeared from his SUV, so it said "WANT TO MAKE / / A MONTH? CALL <phone>" and then, eventually, "WANT TO MAKE / / ? CALL <phone>"

Hahaha it’s insane to see a “mom” dealing her “sick” kid. No one is going to be looking perfectly perfect - make up, Hair, dress et - to deal with a sick child. Most of the times you might not have a good night sleep because we need to be checking on them during the night so for sure you will look exhausted and tired.

Wanting to jump on a call before setting a financial expectation is a red flag for me as a content marketer and comedian. Why would I spend even 10 mins on a call when i nees 10 seconds to see you on some bullshit. I mean, you don't have money.

This video just reminded me of a contemt creator I LOVED from Australia who would make funny queer positive content and videos, she joined Monate and so many ppl in her comments were like "WTF" cause Australia overall is much more anti mlm these days. She would just delete comments and all the huns were backing her up, I unfollowed her earlier in the year because of it. I just went to check, and her Instagram is GONE, no # of her handle are there, I tried from my 3 work accounts and nothing. Wild, she was so successful as a social media personality and seems this ended it for her right there.

Just a little quibble/different perspective on the recruiting with the founders’ pool being against their interest: it is not against their interest at all. It’s proof that they know how unlikely it is that their recruits will ever sell enough to qualify. Meanwhile they are qualifying because they have however many people below them, each scraping along and bringing the up-line’s CVs up. I do not want to see the video of these predators trying to sell how they would never exploit anyone.

I just find it so weird people would defend corporations over anything. I don't trust a single corporation, and I definitely wouldn't blindly defend them. Do I consume the products of non-MLM corporations? Yeah of course, it's nearly impossible not to. But I'd never blindly defend them, no matter how much I enjoyed the products. The only reason these people go to bat for these companies like an army in war is because their paycheck is so delicate.

Stardom insanity has always been around since any star began selling for brands, think jordan in the 90's for nike , as a Dane (Man from Denmark) I find it really rediculus that people will buy anything that a "star" brands, I garantee you if one of the biggest tiktok stars tried to sell paper clips for 10 dollars each everyone would go nuts and throw their money at them.

I’m very late to the party and probably no one will see this, but just in case…. REAL MENTAL HEALTH MEDS ARE CHEAPER. I currently take 3 daily medications for my mental health. I have perhaps average insurance that I got through the ACA. I pay about $10 a month total for these 3 medications. And they are proven to work based on real science. And prescribed and monitored by a doctor. And regulated by the FDA so I know I’m always getting what the say is in them. TEN DOLLARS A MONTH FOR 3 MEDS (for ADHD, depression, and anxiety- one for each).
