I am astonished by how good these templates are. But it's worth remembering that, without dependencies, these are nothing more than automated drawing tools. By the way, I think the earliest versions of MS Project I used, back in the early '90s, were nothing more than a package of Excel plus a load of macros and styling that Microsoft had built. Now, it's an astonishingly complex tool. And it's also one that many PMs simply don't need. The Excel tools you demo here are good enough for many small projects. Thank you, Stuart.

Completely agree. I wouldn’t want to try managing a detailed plan from this. But for a simple schedule, I think it’s good enough.

@@InfluentialPMO Funniest thing, I had an interview today with smith-nephew as a project coordinator and the question was based on Microsoft project. I think I will look at tutorial on that maybe on Udemy at least to add value to myself pending when I will get my first role. I just passed prince2 foundation preparing to write the practitioner soonest. Thanks for your advice.
