We mexicans living in Mexico are also tired of this situation. Of course we have an historical relationship of migration with the States but we never migrated that way (caravans) and in those precarious conditions. I know there's a lot of people with a career looking for better opportunities but most of them come here believing that in Mexico or in the States they'll have a house and a job waiting for them. Being empathic is not the solution, and as I know United States is a country of immigrants, but today is not about migration to look for a better opportunity, it's about humanitarian crisis which is a different topic and we really need to stop this.

Mexico is our neighbor, and immigration from Mexico, legal, illegal is a whole different topic. And the unabashed expectance of free shelter, food, clothes medical care, education for their kids is truly mind blowing. USA people are from everywhere but we speak English to each other. These people pass thru many countries that are safe And Speak Spanish to come to the USA wanting work while not speaking a word of English. And when they are here, they do not bother trying to learn it but say they want to work,and want work permits. While they are waiting ,they are not trying to learn. When I ignored her, she followed me into the restaurant, pointing me out to her boyfriend. I get to deal with immigrants all the time, it's part of my work,. People that have come from Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Guatemal, Jamaica and many other places have all faced struggles. But, most of them were resourceful and found a way to make it work. What I'm seeing with the crop of migrants from Venezuela has been eye opening. Not all migrants are cut from the same cloth. They don't seem to know how to survive without government assistance. It's really sad.

The requirements to get a medical license for Spanish speaker providers doesn't include nclex. It means they never studied for a physician in the usa, nor speak English, and supposely they must work in poverty areas. This is an insult to my Family ancestors who came to this Country from Europe the right way! They had nothing to! This is wild and definitely confirmed that this is indeed intentional. I was stuck at the border patrol agents cutting the additional wire that the national guard put up. The blatant disregard is crazy especially after hearing the chief of the border patrol go into detail in about how unsustainable this all is. Only for him to follow up in defense of his agents cutting through that same wire and helping them cross over. Wire that they still attempt to go through.
