I would be fucking weeping if I was in a concert and Lou s voice came on like that. What a special moment.

I wish I could put into words how deep my admiration for Laurie Anderson is. She gives me hope, I actually live my life the way I do because she makes me believe it is a possibility.

It did not stop before the end. It stopped because a new song was started

This beats the Metallica version.

I don't think they can compare. This version gives it a whole another feeling, way more poetic and a lot stronger emotionally, but the metallica version was made as a mantra- probably the way Lou felt like it should be. He never wanted people to delve into a song looking for a deeper, secret meaning. He took pride in being the only person who knew the true meaning of his own songs. He wanted you to sink into the song- personally, the metallica version does that to me. This version makes me overthink each and every word- I cried over this version, don't think I didn't like it. But Lou would never want me to cry. He even laughed it off when Hetfield and Hammet cried after hearing the final version for the first time. That was our Lou. May he rest in peace.

metallica version was realy great. Its better IMO because its got more hooks and after that dissonant album is was such a good closer
