Sir, the difference between the use of 'what'and 'which'is well explained. But can't we ask these questions with the prepositions ( for, on, to..) at the beginning of the questions..like On which floor is your room? / For whom (who) are you waiting?/ With whom (who) do you play? Generally Malayalees who are not studied in English Medium, usually ask like this : Which floor is your room on? Until now I used the word 'which', to get the meaning of ഏത്. So, I feel, if I polish much, it may confuse me whether to use what or which (I am afraid of being confused). So, I think I must continue using WHICH, to get the meaning ഏത് in Malayalam (with your kind consent). I have been enjoying your classes during these retirement period of mine.
