Hi. I have a few questions: 1. What if I can’t get 1600hrs verified in my country, can I apply for the Temporary Registration to work in UK hospital or UK university in order to earn 1600hrs in UK? 2. Which type of Visa should I apply for the Temporary Registration? Should it be the Health and Care Worker Visa or Tier 2 Visa? 3. For Temporary Registration, they say that my degree needs to be checked eligibility with ENIC, and then I have to search for employment with NACPDE in order to work in the UK. However, they also mention that the employment also depends on Visa. Does that mean I have to apply for a worker visa BEFORE I got employed, or I have to apply worker visa AFTER I got employed? 4. After getting the full registration and being able to practise in UK, can I apply for a MSc Specialist degree like orthodontics or implants? Please reply. Thank you so much for the helpful video.

1. You need the hours first 2. The Temporary registration is done via GDC directly, so you can check the website for their requirements including visas 3. I believe you need to deal with it while speaking with your employer then get the status and then get the visa if that makes sense 4. You can do the MSc whenever you want, before or after, but to work in the UK you need to first take the ORE

Hello, so i have done my BDS from India. You stated about requirment of 1600 working hours...so can my internship certificate count for that? It does have the time mentioned. Also I'm currently in a college working after my graduation ... Will that experience count? I will b on rotary duties in different departments ... Kindly guide me through about that clinical work experience...or like can i ask my college to provide me with a specific certificate of how many hours i worked in intership??? Kindly help. Planning to move to Uk on study visa and then appear for ORE
@the_stu_DENT2 ай бұрын
All forms of such clinical chair work is accepted so long as it is documented and official. That's what they require. So it can be a mix of hours so long as it is signed off

Do you think the ore path is risky ? Is it possible to pass the ore part 2 at first try?
@the_stu_DENT4 ай бұрын
Hi there, the ORE isn't easy but there are plenty of courses to help you pass. You'll need to invest time and money to ensure you have a great chance of passing. Many ppl don't explain this truthfully and just say it's fine, but the truth is, it's testing you on your entire degree in one sitting and then part 2 is your hand work so you need to be very comfortable with it. But many courses can help

@@the_stu_DENT i have only have 5000 Euro, do i think i can go through with that path ? would it be possible to live and earn money after passing part 1 , i fear if i don't pass from first time i would have no money left to go throught the part 2 again
@the_stu_DENT3 ай бұрын
@@angelicafoster670 It is a very tight budget you would have but still can be done with this amount. I would say to study hard for now and see what happens next year if they release the update on the provisional license and how to obtain it as this may let you earn while you study

Hello, I'm planing to take BDS from India and I'm interested to work as a dentist in UK after my BDS. Could you please tell me that is it possible for an average student to crack the ORE exam and to prepare for this ORE exam while doing BDS. Is this ORE exam really very hard to crack? And could you please tell me the opportunities for BDS graduates in UK after 5 yrs from now...will there be any reduction in cost and difficulty level of this exam.... And are there any coaching institutes for ORE? Could you please help me with this.
@the_stu_DENT2 ай бұрын
Hey there's loads of course providers in the UK and online that can help with prep. It is a doable exam but part 2 is famously very hard and ppl will fail lit a couple of times. But it can be done .. just make sure you prepare to sacrifice a few years for it

Can you please give an update on ore exam for next year
@the_stu_DENT9 ай бұрын
Hello there. I will try do a full update video for this and I have an interview I'm planning on doing with a recent ORE graduate! In the meantime .. the update is positive, the government is planning more exam dates, more seats and even more caseworkers for 2024 and beyond. There's pressure to reduce the dental crisis in the UK by making the route to registration for foreign dentists easier, but this could mean a variety of things. Overall, they're planning to make it more accessible. Unfortunately we still have a backlog of over 2,000 dentists trying to take the ORE because of the huge waiting list. I can't see any tangible changes until at least another 3-4 years when the backlog should finally have reduced significantly. I hope this helped for now and I'll do my best to update with new news whenever possible! Thanks for tuning in!

@the_stu_DENT9 ай бұрын
@@nannetishekinah3869 Hey there, no worries! to become a dental nurse these days in the uk you need to apply to a dental nursing course. They are usually about a year long and you have to pay to take the course. It's best to google this and find out the course that best suits you. There is an investment that you must make into this first before you can become a paid nurse unfortunately. But if you are willing to do so, then there are many course providers in the UK that can give you this qualification without issue
