Wow. Fascinating, but not in a good way. That's the shoddiest 'appliance' manufacture I've ever seen. The guys have no standards or pride in their work. Not only is the design appallingly bad, using the thinnest, cheapest materials, there is no craftsmanship whatever. For a safety-critical item like a gas fire, there's no tip-over cut-out, the 'guard' could be pulled off by a weak 2 year-old, and just touching the thing could give you cuts from the dismally finished metalwork. I get this crap is sold cheaply, but even poor people deserve to be safe.
