My new question, I cannot remember the words (one is election or is it predestination?). Is it that God has already selected those who will be saved, or is it free will, or is it a combination of the two? I am thinking of the statement that Jesus told the Father that He kept all that He gave him except the one that was destined to be lost. And of the other scripture which says it is not Jesus's wish for any to be lost (perish).
