Will the 2500/3500 HD version with dual cameras physically mount into the 1500 roof? There is a way to ‘unlock’ the cargo camera feature in the 1500 and I’d like both the mirror and the cargo camera.

There is both a cargo and backup camera that comes with this kit embedded within the third brake light. We do offer a way to unlock the cargo camera feature. You can find that in the link below. You'll notice a drop down menu that asks "Have you Already Purchased The Infotainment OEM Digital Rear View Mirror Upgrade and want to utilize the Cargo Camera". I've been told there is a two input mirror that would work with the cargo light, but also allow input from a camera on the rear of a large trailer. Do you sell kits like that? I have a 2022 Limited Longhorn 3500 with just about every option but the digital camera and woukd have ordered the trailer camera option...but I bought off the lot.

We don't carry that kit at this time. We do have a Third Brake Light Cargo camera kit that will have two cameras, one for the digital mirror for rear view, and the cargo camera goes to the radio screen. But if you're looking to have two inputs to the digital mirror, that's likely further down the road.

We do not FCA exclusively uses the Radio for Navigation services and we are limited to what is available with OEM equipment. We can upgrade the radio to gain Navigation but not this mirror.

I’m waiting for the same upgrade for my ‘19 Limited. On their website, they mention that the ‘19s and ‘20s have a different control unit that, for some reason, won’t allow this upgrade, but that also state that they are working on a solution.

This is the OEM Brake Light so it looks identical to ones you have seen on OEM Rams at the higher trim level. We do not make that part.

Absolutely! This actually only works for the New Body 1500, and Heavy Duty. This won't work for the 4th Gen RAM/Classic.

Wait sooo… what if your truck is a 21 2500 limited and you have the cargo cam? Does this new 3rd brake light have a camera for that on it also plus the camera for the mirror? I don’t want to lose my factory cargo cam.. I see you sell some kind of kit to add a cargo cam? But I already have a cargo cam and want to add the digital rear view mirror? Is there a pop out on this rear view mirror I can swap my cargo cam into or something otherwise this is useless and I will lose the cargo can it seems? Any help is appreciated.

Yes we sent the 3rd brake light that has holes for both cameras so you will not lose out on your current cargo camera system.

I major problem. Get any foreign debris on the rear facing camera (which happens all the time) and you LOSE your rear view mirror, plus you LOSE Auto-Dim on the mirror as well on your outside mirror..............Just not worth it, in my opinion.
