Just to point out there's LUFS metering available if you use it within T-Racks. Also infrasonic is sounds below the lowest audible frequency, so definitely has no effect on air EQ. Fun review, though, as always.

This is an emulation of the Weiss limiter. Interestingly Softube make a 1:1 code port in plugin form (Weiss is digital). This is fantastic though. IK is a seriously underrated company. I’m hoping they use their ToneX technology to start modeling analog hardware. I know its a saturated market (no pun intended)….but that could seriously give AA a run for the money. People are already sampling HW ala acustica audio with the free Neural Amp modeller. IK could seriously bring us all into the future if they do that

Infrasonic is sound below the threshold of human hearing. Ultrasonic is sound above the threshold of human hearing, and that's what the MAAG Air Band adds. Thus, the infrasonic filter will have no effect on the Air Band. Dan was just testing us to see if we knew the difference.

I use both the Brainworx True Peak and the PSP Xenon. Both great and slightly different sounding for different kinds of track. 👍

I forgot I have this one in my IK Multimedia bundle until I saw your video, so I went back and tried it. :D ISPL and Unity Gain Monitor are really really good features but you guys are right, the metering is just .... not good enough. My go-to limiter these days is Slate Digital's FG-X2 which has both of those features, plus correct RMS/LUFS meters even during the constant gain monitoring. I got the IK Multimedia Studio Max bundle, which includes everything they've made, for like $190 during a sale a few months ago. Their plugins are either really good or just below the line. This one is that 'just-below-the-line material' for me.

Limiting is transparent and great (a tiny pinch lacking sometimes in the low end), metering is shit
