Less time is better or none because Umar loves to hear himself yet he lacks true leadership traits. When people in the black community are hurt you won’t find Umar fighting or speaking as a voice of teh people for them. When governments are unjust towards blacks again no Umar. @@Tiffanyc218 dude them stop following frauds like Umar if that’s how you feel. Just a because others are doing wrong doesn’t mean your own should do the same. It’s no wonder the world doesn’t take black people serious because “leadership” in the black “communities” are all talk and no action while in every other communities the ones who take actions are praised above the mere master grabbers (like Umar Kohnson). We all make mistakes, so what if he made a couple in his life, he’s not perfect, but if he feels he went wrong then change the behavior, not tell everyone. I wish Nick would keep it strictly on the subject and not always make it about him and his family personal life, the information from the counselors will help others along with his changed behaviors, telling all his business and talking to much can get him in trouble.

@IM-qy7mf7 ай бұрын
This is the type of advice that sounds good until you analyze it mathematically and pragmatically: if you're only worried about associating with people that are where you'd like to be, everyone will end up alone, since no one will want to be with someone "beneath" them (for lack of better term). How about we show gratitude towards friendships of circumstances (friends that meet us where we are at the moment) while working to meet people that can help us, so that we can, then, in turn, be of help to our friends of circumstances?

That "Spiritual Vampire" term made me think of my wife. She said that the fact that I'm a loner and I don't make an effort for to go out and make friends or build relationships so we can have people in our lives will cause the marriage to end. Its fucking draining because shes trying to force me to be a social butterfly and that's not my personality. Also every holiday she's sad because we dont have people to spend holodays with since both of our families aren't close. We're supposed to go sat with a counselor about it but this is draining for me.

Tell her to leave you alone by yourself and go make friends of her own and hang out with them as often as she can. Im sure she'll run into a man who loves how social she is and wants to make it his job to keep her happy. Then she'll divorce you for him and you'll never have to worry about meeting her needs again. You get to be alone and she gets to be wirn someone who likes being social. #WinWin

You two have severely diff needs in these areas and counseling will help you both determine whether they both can be met within the marriage. That’s for you two to conclude. Counselor won’t tell you or give you the answer but a good one will help you both figure it out together. Kudos to you!! Wish you both the best. Also, you’re totally right(!) to assert your needs and so is your wife. Nobody has to be or is wrong in your situation. It just is what it is 🤷♀️
