So many people spoke bad about Min. Farrakhan when he said we needed therapy or needed to be audited. The Church of Scientology has a good therapy program but just because is was the Church of Scientology it was blasted as something bad. This has been a focus of that Church and they're good at it. People who have been traumatized and abused need to get healing before they get married not just for themselves, but so they don't traumatize their spouse and children.

Can’t die if the ppl saying men need therapy , won’t get therapy from what their mothers did to them to break them and to make them think every man is cheating. Thats what happens when the mothers bring their kids into adult situations at a young age. Especially girls. And I see a lot of sisters bringing their daughters into adult relationship situations. Now those little girls grow up not have bad relationships but creating toxic relationships because like her mom she’s accusing every man she’s with with cheating. And since she thinks that , she has a dirty attitude with the man she’s in a relationship. Everything is an argument. Everything is a fight while it’s not. You can’t lie most black men try and show women the light but they choose not to see logic and leadership

I'm so glad he explained this. I am so tired of hearing black people have this "get over it". "Let it go" mindset. People do not understand psychologically how the brain works overall but especially trauma. People can understand having your back broken and put in a wheelchair and that somebody will never walk again. But they can't understand something Traumatizing somebody so bad that they can never be the same again. Age has nothing to do with anything. They're people who are Damn near 100 Still thinking about something that happened to them as a child (That greatly affected them their whole life) and we'll take it to the grave. Mental scars cut way deeper than physical ones.
@k1llamanjaro532

That’s a fact, but as a being it is your responsibility to face your trauma to grow as a person, if that is what you as a being want. Correct generational trauma, overcome your subconscious mental blocks to be the being you are destined to be, because at the end of the day our time is limited and regretting not taking action in your final moments will spiritually crush you.

I agree with Umar that there maybe hidden agents and subconscious motivations, but here's another factor: CONFLICT SELLS. No one wants to hear a podcast about how great black men are and how wonderful black women are, and how much we need each other. The public demand is for destruction in the name of entertainment and these podcasts hosts are selfishly farming and manufacturing hatred and resentment in hopes to get Patreon subscribers, superchats on KZbin, and monetized video views.

Its not that people are afraid to approach the right people, its a lot of people who aren't doing the work to heal themselves from their own issues. So it becomes a cycle of jumping in and out relationships carrying emotional, mental, spiritual, and societal baggage. Self awareness and self actualization is the foundation of growing into a better person man and woman. Study your parents and grandparents, recognize the behavior patterns you are repeating, recognize the trauma they individually went through and see if you're carrying that residue. Your past is always with you. Make peace with your past to be the best version of yourself in the PRESENT.

How do you expect healthy relationships to form when the foundation of the culture is so dysfunctional and toxic? I think what is most being talked about here are symptoms of this. based on what I'm seeing, patriarchy does far more harm to male/female relationships than feminism Women trying to get men to fund their whole lives - do that from a patriarchal standpoint. Men who think they don't have to help in the household leading to resentment and disconnect - patriarchy. If more people thought fairly and outside of strict gender roles, there would be less conflict.

Feminism is a scam run by radical females to make men into slaves. A woman wanting to be taken care of has nothing to do with patriarchy. Why wouldn't a woman want a man slaving away while she does whatever she feels like? Feminism was about women doing whatever they want and then shaming men into doing what they want men to do.

There are a lot of narratives whether legitimate or not that are being used to keep us apart. Sometimes legitimate issues are inflated to keep us at odds with each other. We need to settle our differences with each other without the interference of outsiders.
@SphumZAR
@SphumZAR 13 күн бұрын
You’re right, although I don’t see us ever getting back in a good place collectively because the outsider doesn’t need both men and women to further their agenda, they just need either the men or the women, as long as one group is dysfunctional and you are able to give them the victim status then you will further the agenda of keeping them apart forever. Sadly this happens because there are stages to this think of keeping us apart, one stage needs one group at a time, women for stage one, men for stage two etc. So in all those stages we are dealing with legitimate issues most times but we aren’t actually solving anything.

Parents have a huge impact on their Children's lives. Especially Father's they have a huge impact on their daughter's lives. For their to be any kind of unity or harmony within a group of people. The group must first look inward at themselves. Holding themselves accountable for their actions.

As a married man and psychology major, I’ve found that People with trauma also date those who validate their initial perspectives of the opposite sex… and some date those who validate their perspectives of themselves. If they feel like a failure or unworthy of love they will find a mate that confirms those thoughts. Some also punish themselves through the people they date

There are so many ways to address all of the issues that were brought up. I have the simple answer to all of it. EVERYTHING LEADS BACK TO GOD!! We serve a God that is not of confusion. If people in general focus and committ to God the negative in the world will see a huge decrease.

He said everyone is traumatized but then said traumatized people can’t have relationships because when others try to love them, they have things in their head. In that case wouldn’t the person trying to love them also be dealing with trauma as well? Therefore no one should be in a relationship. Makes no sense at all. Everyone looking for a quick fix. Lifestyle changes can’t be found in one off answers. It take consistent effort both parties and we have forgotten that part.

I work at this venue where they throw parties all the time and have weddings there as well, and let me tell you something: women from every other race are choosing the bear on the internet but are not walking like they talk in real life. Black people really have to open their eyes. I say this because this gender war is mostly affecting black people because people from every other race are putting their differences aside and getting married at the end of the day.
@SphumZAR

Somehow that doesn’t surprise me. I’m from South Africa and we also have a gender war here but that gender war it’s only affecting the blacks. Every other race remembers their positions and play those positions very well, and then go to the internet to spread the hate they don’t even subscribe to.

"They don't have the self esteem to approach the right people." This is the truest statement ever! These people are always spending so much attention talking abut people they don't like. I always wondered why they just don't find someone who has the traits they want instead of being angry all the time. It's because they're scared to go for them and can't admit that. Wow. Some people just don't want to be happy in this life.

I'm walking back home from the Dollar Tree with a brown bag in hand, Dr. Umar got me pumping my fist like Malcolm X is speaking. There are a lot of people out here who hate black men or black women, but yet still think they know what is best for us. If you had 100 terrible experiences with black people, then get help, do not hold in that pain. Black people may disappoint you, but we don't have the ability to hurt you like someone from the dominant society and then get away with it. The vast majority of black people issues come from oppression and the frustration of not being free for the last 500 years, that pain comes out in many different ways. We need reparations to heal our trauma and about 10 years away from white supremacy in order to free our minds and learn to enjoy life.
