Hi, in the part 6:03, after the meeting, she broke down crying. I don't think 'Down' is a preposition here. It could be the partical.The word 'Crying' could be a reduced present participle clause. It's not a gerund. Could you kindly share your opinion by rethinking it?😊 Another question Are you a native English teacher? 🤔

Hello, thanks for the question. 'To break down' is indeed a phrasal verb and crying is a gerund in this example. A reduced present participle replaces a relative pronoun and the verb 'to be' in a sentence. For example: The woman who is crying is my coworker. --> The woman crying is my coworker. I hope this helps.
