I enjoyed mine until I ran into a small issue. The bracket that mates to the block developed a hairline crack along the base and It made itself present by giving me a very high pitch groan only present from 3k-4k rpm. It took me a about a day or so to narrow it down to that but it did great while it was all 1 piece.

Same. I actually thought no one else had gone through this. Mine actually broke in half which made me not go back to repurchasing it again.

My s2000 developed a groan 4K-4.5k more pronounced @ 4.5k. Noise sounds like it is coming from passenger side/center fire wall. Also have this etd.

Went back to watch my track videos and do notice the shifter moving around a bit on high G corners. Im on vibratechnics engine mounts with hardrace transmission mounts. Dont know if preventing the transmission from moving a little during high g's help though because i wouldnt normally shift mid corner. Will be waiting for your review.

Vibratechnics are really good mounts, they may prevent engine movement less than the hardrace id think. I’ll keep you posted on this setup

I had one on my S2000. Makes shifting 100 times better. However, you will feel more vibration in your ride. It gets very bouncy.

Hello, great channel! Did you have “after” impressions of added NVH and if there was better stability for the tranny and better gate precision and reduced mis-shifting? I ask because my 04 seems to balk at shifting or mis-shift dangerously under heavy g forces around certain turns. Thanks!

No noticeable increase in nvh when installed, car already had hardrace engine mounts which added a little nvh when cold and at lower rpms, when I added the ingalls on top of that I didn’t feel any change. since installing the damper I haven’t had one miss shift. The shift assembly and trans moves side to side significantly less in high speed turns. Hands down one of the best mods for S2k’s driven hard either autox or track!

What exactly did you type into Rock Auto? I am having trouble finding it. Dorman 546-522 isn't working on Rock Auto. I see it other places for a lot more.

I was on eBay looking for one also ran into one if you type Front Engine Torque Damper X593JV. It’s says it’s dorman and for s2000 but doesnt say anything about ingalls so idk 🤷🏽‍♂️

I tried this one before going to Puddymod for his. It's a bit less bulky looking but mounts nice under a strut bar. Also DragonEyeTuning(dot)com has a nice Brake Master Brace like LHT's low profile one they use to make but $85 vs $125.

Unfortunately I cannot run a brake master cylinder brace due to my radium catch can mounted in the way on my current setup

@@NAUS2K Have you considered welding a small tab onto the overflow bracket? You could then mount the catch cans there. I wish I had pictures of my setup then but I believe LHT did a video on it once. But if you don't want to run one then I don't see doing that extra work. I did the RainH8r mod instead with a AP2 valve cover.
