Byon Bill Really high soprano voices that can usually sing from high f and above. Other examples of this vocal fach are Mado Robin and Erna Sack.

Fun Facts: Way back in the days when Rosinas could interpolate any selection they wanted in the Lesson Scene of "Barbiere," Marcella Sembrich chose this showpiece for the opera's Met premiere in 1883--135 years to the day from when I'm posting this. She also threw in two German songs for good measure. There's a detailed review of the performance on the Met Archives website, praising "the Hungarian songstress" (Sembrich was Polish) for :"the dazzling brillance of her execution" of the piece and "the ease of which she overcame the difficulties of its most bewildering bars." Speaking of bewildering, the critic also wrote that "without a great Rosina, 'Barber' would be simply unbearable." Wouldn't a great Figaro be the key to the success of the evening instead?

No offense intended, do you know what a soprano sfogato is? She is a contralto or mezzo-soprano who extends her register to the high notes of even a light soprano. The only example of a soprno Sfogato is, without a doubt, #MaríaCallas. #IngeborgHallstein is an amazing light soprano, but she's not a Sfogato soprano at all, for God's sake, read, study, investigate before talking nonsense.
@dramaticsoprano51682 жыл бұрын
No one is calling her a soprano sfogato, they are calling her soprano ACUTO sfogato, which is not the same thing. Perhaps, you should take some of your own advice. I also don't agree that Callas was a soprano sfogato, a better definition for her (prime) voice was 'soprano assoluto'. She was far from a contralto or mezzo.
@MrFABY19662 жыл бұрын
@@dramaticsoprano5168 THE definition: soprano ACUTO sfogato, does not exist. Did you invent it? In the 18th century, a great example was María Malibrán and others. That's why they say that María Callas was born in the wrong century, and soprano sfogato = soprano assoluta. You think this canary is an absolute soprano. I do not believe it.

Lol, Hallstein as a contralto? I think You are the one who needs to go to study insteaad of writing nonsenses
