I think there were some of those Ingersoll's at the p[umped storage project here but all the quarry drillers here went to Furukawa. Years ago with the air-track drills it was a swap with either Ingersoll compressors and Gardner/Denver drills or the other way around. Very seldom did you see a drll and compressor both made by the same outfit. The Ingersoll's usually had 6-71 GM/Detroits and the Gardner/Denvers had Cats. Good for staying warm by in winter but a dab noisy. Thanks, Pal and happy coal hunting!

@@arborist460 I was around the air tracks and helping on drills in bad weather when dirt turned into mud and there needed to be some shooting so some rock fills could start. The compressors were warm but loud. No wonder I can't hear!

I really enjoy your videos and learning about hard coal mining. All of my family worked in this industry in the Hazleton area back in the day. Hope what's left doesn't go extinct do to this insane administration. Hope you guys are able to persevere ...

Thank you! Nice to hear from a local! I don't see the industry slowing down in the future, they'll always be a need for Pennsylvania anthracite.
