His performance is always full of dreams and hopes. It's related to his natural personality. His performance is especially lively and energetic. Every time I listen to his performance, I gain strength.

i still find it so bizarre with no applause at the end of such a work!

I believe they are told only to applaud after the last piece in his set, as applauding between pieces might disturb his mental preparation for the next piece.

Tai Ching Kan which Ruins it. That’s the problem with contests, it expects you to be stuck in a state of mind instead of being captured in the moment.

Brilliant finger technique, as always. But his interpretation lacks character. It is a scherzo, not a nocturne. I prefer Gillham's interpretation, even though Wunder's technique is superior.

How does it lack character, if it is being played in a different manner than you expected? If everyone played it nearly the same way, it'd be a rather boring and pointless exercise, wouldn't it.

Gillham 's performance was fantastic and also faultless.

Ingolf Wunder ce n'est pas juste une merveilleuse technique, c'est aussi du chant, des couleurs, un rayon de soleil amoureux qui resplendit dans toutes les salles dans lesquelles il joue!
