Goodness! The warmth in Grace's voice can only be described as red wine by the fire on a snowy December night. This kind of songs suit her voice so well it's very hard to stop listening over and over. The way she speaks the words is so gentle, like lovingly spoon feeding a baby, if that makes any sense lol.

I'm glad you mentioned that Sam I find this song so intriguing. I loved Brenda Lee but not a big fan of Country music, I always loved this song. When Ingrid sings she is accompanied buy horns but when Grace sings the horns don't come in right away, interesting. I hear Ingrid singing it similar to 60s Brenda Lee style but Grace sounds more like early 50s Peggy Lee. Did Grace research the wrong LEE

Yes I forgot but intended originally to mention earlier 50s Peggy and late 50s Brenda, early 50s was more swing style like Grace is doing here. I was a war movies buff as a kid and one of my favorites back then, which I have since forgotten the title, was one in which Peggy sang a song call Donnie

Wow! Thanks to Ingrid for inviting Grace in on this song. Ingrid's voice is simply wonderful, very warm and fits the song perfectly. Then Grace comes in and I feel like I am right there in the room. Talk about time travel, I can see the candles on the tables, the frost on the windows, red decorations, and almost smell the peppermint and cinnamon. I just went back to the 40's and never left my chair. The Swingtime sound and muted trumpets were perfect for Grace's rich warm voice. Someone throw another log on the fire and please sing that again girls.
