everything is OK except I have less than 1 yr experience related to the industry of the employer in the Rural Alberta giving me a job offer, does this invalidate every other eligibility I have?

I m currently working in Kitchener Ontario as a machine operator and it is teer 4 so can I transfer that experience if I’m going for the Alberta rural renewal program

We've just had news this evening that they've stopped the rural renewal stream as of September. This was our pathway to PR as my husband has filled a technical position his company couldn't hire locally for. We're now stuck with not knowing what we're going to do, as we don't have enough points for a general PR visa.

Not stopped they are going to be point based system from sep 30 .

@@MrFahee It will no longer be the rural renewal stream. We've spoken to immigration consultants (that's how we found out). Oddly enough, those we have spoken to about getting provincial nomination had no clue it was ending.

Hi, I am an applicant under the RRS in fort mcmurray, its been over 7 months since I applied and hasn't received any updates from aaip other than the additional information request I received in August, which when received the application status went back to Submitted. is there any reason for this delay, please share any updates if you have any thank you.

I have applied for PR with IRCC in march2024 after receiving endorsement letter and PNP in February 2024. I received my AOR in July 2024 post that i got biometric and medical request in August 2024. After all these are completed i haven't received any further communications. I applied from outside of Canada. When can I expect decision on my case.

Chestermere is not rural. It’s a part ofCalgary’s agglomeration.

Overall 5 is sufficient but 5 in each module will strengthen your profile.
