I make custom 3d printed Targetmasters for Transformers. I recently started making 2 inch tall versions of the Earth Corps figures that transform into guns for Transformers to hold. I found it to be a good way to cross over the two properties.

They kind of already exist in the same universe thanks to one character: Hector Ramirez, host of 20 Questions. The obvious Geraldo Rivera parody was a main burr in Earth Corp's butt, and he also made guest appearances on episodes of G.I. Joe, Jem, and Transformers. Meanwhile an heiress has pursued both the Autobot Powerglide and the Joe Lifeline, and 2005 era ally Melissa Fairborne is believed to be Flint's daughter (most likely with Lady Jaye but nothing conclusive was ever noted) and Cobra Commander once used his synthoids on the Autobots. So they existed together. They just didn't interact much.

Yes I address this in the full episode we did on Inhumanoids. I theorize that these are alternate universes, apart from GI Joe and transformers which we know would have to take place in the same universe due to the daughter of Flint and Lady Jaye appearing in the Transformers continuity. Inconclusive or not, it seems likely. However, it's highly unlikely that GI Joe would never encounter the terraforming events of the inhumanoids. The only other explanation is a parallel Earth.

"Skeletons in the Closet" was a great GI Joe episode. It was the one that stands out in my memory.

Dude, I can totally get why that's a highly memorable episode of the Joes. Great world building and a major dramatic flair. Noicely written by Flint Dille, he totally understood the characters he was working with in that scenario. @@CartoonCommotion He did some interactive fiction with Gary Gygax in the Sagard the Barbarian series. I think he wrote at least one of the GI Joe gamebooks, alongside RL Stine and others, but I can quite recall. I'm always happy to talk about cartoon tie-in interactive fiction books. I have quite the collection.

I suppose in your research you discovered that Hasbro designer Aaron Archer was part of an independent action figure Kickstarter several years ago. They tried to slip in some Inhumanoids homages. Sadly I didn't get funded.

When Hasbro was last looking to reboot the Inhumanoids they renamed them to Primoreda because they didn't want to have a conflict with Marvel's Inhumans. Inhumans had a TV show under development. Hasbro makes Marvel action figures and does not want to get on their bad side. Since Inhumans bombed that may no longer be the case, and the name Inhumanoids could return.

Yes. And then when they found out they didn't have the rights to the characters at all any more, they went in a completely different direction, rebooting the creatures from the third mini series of the cartoon "Fatal Fluffies" As far as I can tell, that comic series was supposed to reintroduce the Inhumanoids along with those many other Hasbro toy properties, but it couldn't. Weird how they didn't know what they didn't own anymore 😅🤔

@@RetroRobotRadio actually I don't know, that wasn't very clear in my research. There's probably something out there that clears that up, but all I discovered so far is that they no longer owned the property at all. 😕
